Normally you don't need 10 acres to support 2 homes tho. 2 acres would be plenty.

However, I do recall hearing that there are water shortages in the area with some wells already running dry.

The existing bylaws only allow a second residence on ten acre parcels im going through the motions as we speak, you're also not allowed to use the existing septic system for a second residence im not sure about the well yet but imagineit will need to be seperate as well.

Is there somewhere online I can find this information available about the 10 acre parcels being allowed?
