My opinion, they may or may not be related.
My guess is , at any point in time, could could be several groups of people not getting along... Kelowna IS not that small, and lots of visitors this time of year.,

I am sure the RCMP are doing damage control here...they don’t want to let the public know that that the gang wars have become heated... drug supply low, demand higher, more money for the bad guys...

Lower mainland police release the names of victims quickly, this is one reason for their success rate in solving murders, RCMP have to change their methods to get a quicker response from the public??

I read that the two men who were shot were referred to as gentlemen but then another article says the fellow who is dead has had several previous problems & was well known to the police at the coast.
It's a nice way of saying he's a piece of .
The RCMP are in damage control mode because these murders do not fit into Tourism Kelowna's image of our city being a safe fun mecca to visit.
