Get teased, points gun, get transferred

Postby Vacancyrate » Jan 15th, 2021, 12:24 pm

Kelowna cop transferred for pointing gun at officer who was teasing her

https://www.castanet.net/news/Kelowna/3 ... easing-her

This woman was being slightly teased at work because she screwed up a bunch of paperwork. Because she was being slightly teased, she drew a firearm on the person that was slightly teasing her.

She got TRANSFERRED and lost 2 weeks pay. That's it.

That woman has no business having any authority over anyone let alone giving her a firearm to help her enforce her authority. It's plainly obvious what kind of person she is - this is an adult woman not a developing child. No amount of "training" seems to have got into her head about proper firearms saftey, let alone abusing a position of authority and emotional management even after going through RCMP Depot.

If I drew a firearm on my co-worker or another citizen I'd be rightfully charged and certainly convicted of a felony crime. I'd lose my job outright and I'd probably be given a firearms ban and a criminal record.

She gets a mulligan.

Pink justice?

RCMP favoritism?

Either way this cop is going to end up hurting someone down the line.

From Salmon Arm Observer.

According to the decision, it was at that point Roesler unholstered her RCMP-issued gun and pointed it at Hess, telling him to either “go away” or “ :cuss: off.”

Hess stated during the proceedings if the gun had gone off, he’s not sure if the shot would’ve hit him or not.

A few seconds later, Roesler put her gun back in its holster. An investigation into her actions began two weeks later.

The male cop sounds like he's a complete *bleep*. Maybe he should have been the one to be docked pay also and transferred. Wonder how the story wood look if instead of the word teased they use the word harassed.
What a joke. So you got an officer there trying to do her work with due diligence and you got one and then more men harassing her. Yeah that sends a good clear message when she's the one that gets docked pay and sent away for being pushed over the edge. How about we see the video and hear the audio.
I bet there's going to be more to this story if she is allowed to talk.

Gee. it sounds as if you were actually there yourself because you're so sure she was only "slightly teased "as you put it.
So there's absolutely no chance that other people might construe it as harassment? And there's absolutely no chance according to you that there may not have been ongoing harassment? And of course based on your comment there's absolutely no chance at all that she just might be disliked because she follows the rules and the other guys possibly don't like her and we're trying to get her forced out? Of course not never happens in real life does it?. It is just cut and dried , black-and-white like there's no tomorrow huh?
Come on. Unless you were there your opinion should not be so strong

What she did was dead wrong. Harassing someone doesn't serve any purpose either.

If her colleagues can make her draw a gun just by teasing (rightfully or not) about paperwork, imagine what seasoned criminals can do to her on a street.

She should not be on the force.

They were both acting poorly but un-holstering her weapon is unforgiveable.

If she's like that with an annoying co-worker, imagine how she would react in the heat of the moment dealing with a member of the public. This is the type of cop you hear about in news - off duty road rage incident and she's waving her gun and threatening arrest. Hopefully this is an eye-opener for her and the behavior is corrected before it gets that far.

Until it's you she shoots. You haven't hidden your dislike for RCMP truth. Get lippy with this cop and you risk getting shot for nothing more than giving her a piece of your mind.
