We let 2-legged curs roam the streets, thieving and assaulting people. They are never punished by the courts for this because why? I'll take my chances with a dog rather than a mope high on whatever kind of :cuss: they are on. Most dogs you just have to tell them to go find their ball. Most dogs know that word and what it relates to.

Unsafe firearms usage

If it was a mild nip, a jump and a bark, sure.
This is on the other end of the scale.
Sorry doesn't cut it, the situation needs to be corrected.

Drunk drivers have nothing to do with the story nor do firearms. What if someone has a drink - arrest them on the spot? This was a one dog that bit and there are laws regarding that. If people want to revise the laws then I suggest go ahead and try to do that. At this point the owners are taking responsibility and it's up to officials to do their investigation and move forward with recommendations.
Fancy this, Fancy that and by the way, T*t for Tat

Not all, but a good majority of dog owners think the rules don’t apply to them. It’s the classic.... dog jumps up on you and the owner says ...... don’t worry he won’t bite you! Time to start cracking down on these characters
