Makes my stomach churn reading about child sex abusers. Not all people pushing the vaccine down our throats were bad people, but all the morally bankrupt people sure seemed to be pro-get-the-vax-or-else.

De Villiers is charged with sexually assaulting a child and invitation to sexual touching in relation to alleged incidents in Grande Prairie between 2018 and 2020. De Villiers was Interior Health's chief medical health officer, based out of Kelowna, from the summer of 2020 to June 2021, when the charges were laid.

Prior to his move to Kelowna, de Villiers worked as a medical health officer for Alberta Health Services for 16 years.

A "public health OFFICER" is an administrational position, therefore, he did not have any contact with patients of any age, and was just a paper pusher.

He’s not back at work. He’s on paid leave. With the *bleep* up set of laws in this province, he’s innocent until proven guilty. This means his wages remain as if there were no charges against him. When the courts have decided if he’s guilty or not is when his employment status changes.

Having lived in several Third World countries I can assure you that innocent until proven guilty is certainly a preferable option to guilty until proven innocent.

Not when it comes to child sex cases.

Thankfully he was charged, tried, and convicted in Alberta. Had it been in BC he probably would've walked. In fact our lazy crown prosecutors in this province probably wouldn't have even laid charges so they could avoid going to court.
