No trespassing signs are legal and enforceable. This applies to all people regardless of reason for visit. You can have one with a camera and then you can call police if needed.

Good luck getting a Police response to that.

I like the idea of a sign that states. "I shoot every third person who is Soliciting and the second one just left" :D

No calls or knocks here.
You might want to have a doorbell ring that sounds like this: "Just a minute!"

Otherwise, Anonymous123 has a great idea, use a "NO" sign but looks as though you also have to include "educate" and "informing" on the list. lol

We have a video doorbell and can also talk to who is at the door.

I am not shy about telling them to go away!

Could also put up a sign saying this house has Covid, no entry!

We're not home.
They can knock themselves out.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Do you have a no soliciting sign? Or what sign do you have? I hope it’s something otherwise you’re just a not nice person. So please tell what sign you do have and maybe elaborate on what they will get? BM

Ive recently moved and had only changed my address with icbc/bc services and CRA ( the rest of my mail i forwarded). But one of our local candidates somehow managed to get her hands on my new address as I got mail with my name and new address from her. Id like to know which government service sells our address's :-X

Interesting, I’ve never received candidate flyers (or mail) with my address or my name. Funny because it’s only bulk mail I do receive.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

We never got a phone call or a door knocker. We did get mail from one party addressed to only my husband. And it wasn't a party we vote for. We have a friend that stopped the religious ones from coming, he answered the door naked one day and said he wasn't interested and shut the door on them. They never came back. We phoned the church and asked to be put on their no contact list. That worked great as they would drive up and get out of their cars by the dozen, look at the paper and point out our house and walk on by. This election though has been quiet for us.
