Kelowna Garbage and Recycling ... something strange

I noticed today that both the garbage and recycling were dumped in the same truck one after the other. Anyone else notice it. Do they have dual compartments now or some other reason.

I belive some trucks have partitioned boxes.

Yep, separate compartments! I've watched it from my second floor window. They dump one in, then a 'divider' moves across, then they dump the second one in.

I've wondered where the recycling trucks empty out? There should be a very large noticeable facility for them but I have never seen or heard of it.
