Farmers Market New Location, this should be interesting...

Previously a massive parking lot, to the Tree Of Hope Plaza.

Below is a pic of an average business day in the Landmark Area. You want customers on Wednesday to park and walk from where?

There's actually more hard surface parking area at Landmark than there is at the corner of Dilworth. Coupled with the large parking area at Parkinson Rec accessed by the walkway (top right corner), it should be an improvement. I'm sure they looked into the logistics before making the decision.

They probably want customers to park in Parkinson and use pedestrian overpass.

I can already see a decrease in sales in heavy objects, whether it's potatoes or someone buying up entire flats of berries. Who is going to be able to haul heavy things back to their car? Buying six or seven well started tomato plants? Sacks of onions? Small things and small bags of stuff? Sure. Not lots and not heavy.
Regardless of who "wins" an election, they always are up against a Silent Elite. Do you believe the extreme poor who voted for Trump ever thought their non-profit support would be slashed right out from under them?

Do you think Parkinsons is going to put up with a full lot and none of their customers can find a spot anywhere?

I'm not impressed with this location choice and think it will be a huge clusterduck!

One more reason to avoid the Farmers Market!

You realize we are talking about Kelowna, right? Have you seen previous evidence of our authorities looking into logistics first?

Maybe skip Weds and have it Sats and Suns, there would lots more available parking
Can't see PRC being happy to have their lot plugged with shoppers

I was referring to Stobers' committing to having the market on their property. They seem to know a thing or two about logistics. Who knows, maybe it will be a flop - certainly no worse than where it is right now.

What little street parking there is on Dickson, Dolphin, Dayton and Kirchner, definitely won’t be enough.
Farmers Market organizers will definitely regret this decision.

What street parking is there currently at Dilworth and Springfield?

The entire Orchard Park Mall parking lot, plus the gate to empty field next door is open for parking.
