It looks like that cold front has hit Van. Isl. and is heading our way.

Yet, nothing on the radar. There is lightning way out in the ocean though.

The cold front is coming from the NWT. It's currently hitting Fort St. John, and heading south from there. It won't have much punch left by the time it hits us. Also, there's a low off the central coast this is colliding with the cold front.

I don't think we are going to get the lightning that EC is forecasting. The old farmer, living next door doesn't either, as he is out painting all his window trim.

New all time September weather records set this month:

Agassiz = Maximum Wind Speed = 39 km/h (set on the 13th)

Burns Lake = Minimum High Temperature = 4.4 °C (set on the 15th -- CRAZY, record low for the month set in the 1st half of the month!)
Burns Lake = Minimum Dew Point -10.2 °C (set on the 15th)

Chetwynd = Minimum High Temperature 0 °C (set on the 12th, again, CRAZY it was so early in a month that cools down so much on average from beginning to end!)

Muncho Lake = Minimum Windchill -10
Muncho Lake = Minimum Dew Point -11.6 °C

Powell River = Snow on the Ground ever = 11 cm (ha ha, seriously, EC actually says this)

Smithers = Minimum Dew Point -9.8 °C

Stewart = Minimum Relative Humidity 21 % (finally someone with a record that wasn't cold or wet!)
