Raw Sewage suspected in making people sick in BC.

The centre says laboratory testing confirms the presence of norovirus in some of the cases and the illness is suspected in the rest of those who have become ill.

An exact source of the contamination has not been determined, but the centre says human sewage in seawater is the most likely cause.

Why am I not surprised that this is happening in the home of the Orange and Green hypocrites. Rah, rah, rah we're against everything except our raw sewage polluting the ocean...

Hey it makes sense to me, complain about pipelines, hydro stations and whatever else you can think of while you continuously pollute the waters you cherish so much with raw sewage. Of course we have to remember there's no bucks to be made complaining about polluting with raw sewage. Can you imagine Tides or Suzuki picketing the disposal of raw sewage, LOL. Why .should we be worried about something that is actually happening.

Where are the First Nations people when we actually need them? Again no money to be made, LOL!

LOL, norovirus is killed by cooking actually, it can still be reintroduced but in this case, cooking would also solve the problem. Why eat anything raw out of the ocean, someone may have just taken a big dump right there or, if harvested near Victoria, could be covered.

Boats also regularly dump human waste. Why take the chance, there are hundreds of cases every year.
