Pretty clear what I think. They knew who they were looking for.

Not according to the police officer. There were no red flags or alerts.

It's obvious you haven't read the judgment.
You said the judge did his job properly yet you're not buying what the judge believes or take into consideration the evidence.

Why would I? I know how the system works, it's not about the truth

Here's the video the judge saw:

Unfortunate there won't be an appeal but at least the drugs won't hit the streets.

I find this story very aggravating. I understand why the police aren't allowed to just randomly stop people and start searching their vehicles but I'm not seeing that in this case at all. The officer suspected there were drugs in the vehicle and he was right to search the vehicle.

The dog was supposed to sit completely, as I understand it, but sat only part way because the concrete barrier prevented him from sitting completely.

So the guy transporting the drugs, who admitted that he was transporting the drugs, walks away. If the judge's decision was the correct one then there is something seriously wrong with the Charter.

If I were the RCMP officer who made the arrest I'd be frustrated and disappointed. If I were the dog I'd be frustrated and disappointed as well! :D
