Thank goodness it is a viable energy source and not stupid wind power.

I might choke having to say this but even the dumb, dumb, NDP, actually realize hydro is a good investment.

As the article states, Fortis need the cash.

I am totally non partisan and that means that I can hate a bunch of idiots no matter what party they are in. :smt045
Why would you have to be partisan to hate people that don't have a clue what they are doing. I gave them credit, what more can they ask for.

You are totally right Merry that Fortis needs cash and on the other side Hydro electricity is a very good investment.

Anyone living in the OK Valley and are paying Fortis for their utilities must reasonably wonder why Fortis is strapped for cash.

Probably because they were dumb enough to get sucked into investing in wind and solar power and now like everyone else is losing their shirt.

I did smile when Fortis was asking us to not use as much during their " time of crisis"
Saving them money.
No rebates, just saving them.
If we hadn't killed all the feral bunnies we could prolly have Bunny Power.
Also means that because the bunnies gone we have less eagles.
Still miss those bunnies on Enterprise.
AS for wind power they could of tapped into Castanet at times :)
Button button.. where are those cheap buttons?
