Thanks, that a good point. I didn’t even consider the sheer volume of the water.

Could someone please tell me, why exactly should we intervene? This is totally a natural thing, happening like many, many, times in the geological history. And salmon will find their ways, as they always do.

No they won't. Do you know what Kokanee are? They are salmon who no longer visit the ocean because the river has been blocked.

Well -again -I just happen to live in Vernon BC -a native -asked myself -If I wanted to buy Sockeye Salmon $/20 for each one-Because there is an abundance -Around Lilloet-----Because of the Rock Slide-My comeback was No-Go *bleep* yourself -So called Protecter of The Land----There is and are *bleep* -Money gainers -all over the World-----But why would a so called Protector of The World /land/BC-offer an endangered species of Salmon to me-offer such a stupid -issue---- to me ???

Actually, many indicators are pointing to a shortage in areas and an overall shortage looming as the world pop grows

They could just swim elsewhere, where there is more food. Oceans are vast. What's wrong with that concept?
