Giant Asian Hornets

Story from Cnet

https://www.castanet.net/edition/news-s ... htm#264085

I have one of those oh oh feelings that if we don't get on this- as in spare no expense declare absolute war on them, we will regret it big time.
Some may view my above politically incorrect opinions as 'harsh' and may even be offended by them. Some think political correctness will be our undoing. Save the planet, spay or neuter your kids.

Large nasty wasp needs to stay out of this side Pacific.

" Third fatal hornet attack this year on Kelowna beaches"---Possible news headline in 10 years.
If this place was infested with these things and it was scary just to go outside, I wonder if it would effect property values and tourism? :smt045

I'm wondering if someone is intentionally bringing them into Canada.

Ugh! I agree, we need to get this under control right away.

Wasps are jerks. A bunch of them invaded my beehives one year. It was a disaster.

According to Wiki, they are also known as the "Yak Killer Hornet".

I get bit once every few years last time above my eyebrow cleaning the gutters. If these ever become the norm I will move.
