I didn't think a hornet bite would be an issue. If you got stung that is different

I suspect one of those Asian hornets could take a big bite, bigger bite then horse fly.

“In early summer wasps, like bees, pollinate plants and flowers as they feed on nectar. ... So, wasps do serve a purpose, and despite being a problem at certain times of the year, they are a beneficial insect. So in the natural world, wasps although irritating to humans, have their role to play.”

I see the giant asian wasps are very venomous, causing around 30 to 50 deaths per year in just japan.

These things are like some nightmare insect from the planet Pandora in the movie Avatar.
Dead. All of them- regardless of cost.

Wonder how long before we get executioner wasps? :200:

Chalk this one up to a downside of globalisation...I guess.

https://www.castanet.net/edition/news-s ... htm#265652

Nuke 'em I say. Spare no expense. And after they are dead, every container that comes into Canada gets irradiated, gassed, used to line a CANDU reactor core... you get the idea.
Pay millions now to wipe them, or pay possibly billions when local ecosystems are taken over and this place is infested with them.
These things make the North American Bald Faced hornet look like house pets.
