Prison conditions (briefly): 4,600 meters (15,000 feet) in altitude, temperature down to -20 at night, no heat in cells or corridors, no running water, 6 hour drive for visitors to get there. Plenty of other negative aspects.

Jails in North America also have their own rules. Pedo's are definately looked at badly and hopefully this person is treated "well" by other criminals.

The comment about the police not doing anything is definately concerning! Maybe some of them know the person, or have a distant connection. These things do happen.

let's not deviate into a battle of the sexes but atleast be happy that someone's daughter is ok and this person got what they deserved. Now if only the cops had done something about this, the parents would not have been arrested and have to go to extremes.
