NDP back to their old ways ?

Post by mikest2 »

NDP back to their old ways ? Sure appears that way.
Think Johnny boy may be sending "Electioneers" door to door next election to save us all time and trouble of a secret ballot ?

Vaughn Palmer: Bains appears set to scrap secret ballots for union certifications

Would be nice if you could post a link that actually works to know what you are talking about!

The one thing Weaver accomplished was keeping that horse in the barn. Now the union thugs are going to be free to coerce and intimidate would-be members. Ahh, back to the days of smashing a few skulls in the parking lot to make sure the certification votes go their way...

The only good thing about Socialists is "Nothing"!

They fully believe they not only own you, but your land, your wealth and your soul.

The only good socialist is a dead one IMO. Guess what Horgan/Trudeau - YOU are not my parent, and I am NOT your property, I was born free and I'll die free whether you like it or not- and you might be very surprised at how many share those sentiments ( and growing).
Compliance is a tool used by dictators, to take your freedom and never give it back.
Enjoy your new "Slave State"!

Much as I dislike the bait and switch Weaver, I agree that he did serve a purpose by keeping the NDP in check.

There's been no doubt in my mind at all, that with Weaver removed and a majority government, the NDP would prove to be the very same self serving entity that they've always been.

I recall not all too many years ago sitting in a BC government lunch room in Kamloops while a vote was being conducted for shop steward.

A couple of guys wanted a certain individual voted in and they made their point very clear as members walked in to vote. In fact they even stood over the guys as they put an X beside a name. A union official that was there as an observer kept quiet, in fact she seemed intimidated.

I came in near the start and saw what was happening, and being a former manager of a union operation I knew that this was strictly illegal and made my opinion known. I told the "thugs" to leave or I would call the union office and ask for another vote, then I hung around while the rest of the guys voted.

The next day the voting continued and the union official had another union member there with her.

Intimidation is their game.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.
