Eby:should he lead British Columbia

Post by tabubil »

I am asking this question now because of the stunt he pulled yesterday with is announcement of three new advisors.
I do not know what you think but here are my thoughts.
Helps in housing, well she sure did nothing for Victoria while she was mayor and $80k for a few months work.
Then there is Dr. Ballem well she sure did nothing for the health region she was in charge of-OVID and deaths ran wild and when put incharge of vaccination it just flopped. She is just getting six figures to work-hope she is not having to take a pay cut, but as a friend of Eby I am sure he will take good care of here.
Then White-indigenous affairs well I guess that all the indians will vote for the NDP and this way Eby solves all the indian problems give them what they want and now the have a man who will definitely get them all that they want and more. But is he really worth $250k a year. Maybe this is a stepping stone to running the NDP party.
With all these new advisors why should he not fire the three ministers and their staff, it might save some money.
I sure would like to see what with all the money Eby has given away since becoming premier and all the large wage increases for his union buddies-oops they run the party, how the finance minister will be able to balance the books, hope she is good at hiding numbers and working with two sets books.
Well I have had my rant now you can all have a go.

CBC had a story on the appointment of Lisa Helps. Not many commenter had a good word to say about her.
The NDP don't get much crazier then Helps.

I wouldn't trust Eby to lead an outhouse parade.

its always about giving friends jobs or having to payback favors, its all about politics its never about helping the people who voted them in

Every political party does this same damn thing when they become the government, handout job postings to their friends.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Not sure about Liberal supporters.
As for Helps, you need to educate yourself on that looney broad.

True but what's particularly disgusting on the NDP's part is they constantly create positions that are 100% useless and a complete waste of tax dollars giving the voters absolutely nothing be they NDP or Liberal.

They're wasting all kinds of time and money on the Massey Tunnel issue, and from all I can see are simply kicking the can down the road for some other government to deal with, when the bridge could have been completed already, as it had all reviews done, and was ready for construction to begin.

The exact same strategy they engaged in with the Bennett Bridge which could have been built for 69 million instead of the 200 million it cost after numerous years of delay, including completely useless studies costing millions, that gave their friends jobs, and provided nothing of value to the tax payer at that time either.

With the NDP it's always same old same old, regardless of which flavor is in power. They are completely incapable of changing their MO and don't even have a desire to.

The only version of the NDP that was ever bearable was the previous one where Weaver kept them in check. The instant they shed him they reverted back to their old ways. Messing with the FOI being a great example.

He should resign by his own admission...

He has just admitted that your government is knowingly upholding racist institutions, so he should resign and be replaced by a non-racist government...

I always hated the NDP and vowed never to vote for them. Then the Liberals under Campbell and Clarke came along and I voted NDP for the first time in my life. I liked Horgan but this new lot just remind me of the Svend Robinson era so I won't be voting NDP ever again. I still despise the Liberals though so I think I will be voting Green from now on.

My favourite moment with Eby was when he was savaging Coleman about what was going on with Casino Gate. And Coleman would get red in the face and dare Eby to say so publically. Good times. Exposing BC Liberal malfeasance and corruption day after day.
