Look at number negative issues JT had over last 8 years, voters have terrible memory.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

News outlets should never let the story die till they are out of office.

Re: Eby:should he lead British Columbia
Eby is failing British Columbians.
First off, the failed drug campaign that they brought in, allowing addicts to possess illicit drugs. We all know it was a dumb idea and time is proving that correct.
Now this, the Lonzo Rd. homeless encampment.
Abbotsford can do nothing about cleaning it up due to it being on Ministry of Transportation land. And the Ministry is doing nothing about it.
Meanwhile, Abbotsford police, at a high cost to their taxpayers
responded to 671 calls for service to the Lonzo Road and Riverside areas in 2015.
That number rose to 1,762 in 2021, 1,581 in 2022 and 585 so far in 2023,
and violent-crime calls for the property rose from 31 in 2015 to 120 in 2021, 119 in 2022 and 37 so far this year.

Re: Eby:should he lead British Columbia
Eby would be the worst choice ever to lead BC because he refuses to listen or deal with any Mayor's problems, especially if it regards the homeless, it's his "my way or else" attitude that should concern voters.
Kelowna is swamped with homeless & is #1 in crime & yet the Mayor & Council allowed homeless from Vancouver to be moved here ? Was this done to keep Eby happy ?

Re: Eby:should he lead British Columbia
Who here thinks the turds in the NDP care what the people of this province want?
Should B.C. follow Alberta's lead and temporarily pause its provincial fuel tax?
Yes 88.41%
No 9.53%
Unsure 2.07%

I'll second that!

Pretty much! Lisa Helps is also anti-patriotic. There are no good NDP politicians any longer.

Oh gawd, did you have to mention Helps. She's the looniest of the left and definitely is anti-patriotic.
My biggest fear is that she will resurface in the next BC election. NDP of course.

Re: Eby:should he lead British Columbia
It would be huge eye opener for the Eby government to lose 1 or both of these by-election.

Re: Eby:should he lead British Columbia
Now Eby is writing letters to the Bank of Canada to halt unnecessary interest rate hikes :

https://www.cp24.com/news/b-c-premier-e ... 20pandemic.
Maybe he has a point ( master of the obvious) but I thought the BOC was separate to political influences...Eby's letter to Macklem said “unnecessary” further interest rate increases pose a danger not just to homeowners looking to renew mortgages but to renters, students, seniors, families and small business people looking to pay bills, just as they start to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
