VPD Officer Wearing Unauthorized Thin Blue Line Patch

Strikes me that this item is hardly one that is newsworthy. If it is an issue at all, it most certainly qualifies as an Internal policy violation. It also occurs to me that people being "offended" by the presence of this patch on an officer's protective vest must be of the highly sensitive and easily offended type. Causes me to wonder what is wrong with people these days?
