They seem to never step down.. it is a like a dance and they 2 step to the side where the coin is and less chance of being caught with their hand in the cookie jar... it will fade away with the ho hum attitude and life is good !!

You are right. These type of "not-for-profit" leeches never step down nor they cease their operations. And once caught red-handed, they'll just morph into some other entity with the same MO. What they are after is milking the taxpayer for a very little or no service provided. Subsidies hunters, at best.
Posters who once get on my ignore list do not get off it easily. They would have to demonstrably improve their behavior.

We have too many people and not enough houses for them. So what is the solution?
Build more houses? Who should do that? Developers with their own money or the government with our money?

Or maybe part of the solution is to slow the growth of our country? I.E. slow down immigration.
We're bringing in close to 500,000 immigrants a year. They need to live somewhere. Oh, and they also need doctors.

Brother sent this one along yesterday : https://www.rew.ca/properties/5042701/1 ... =Geography

Affordable housing?? This shack is a perhaps $100,000 dwelling, but 2 mil ??

Likely will sell and a triplex or more built on it with each unit around 1.5 mil or more. Affordable then for a household income of around $150-200,000.
