Just like last summer..

Let's hope it take the "heat" off some of the other non issues MSM would rather we focus on , like the alphabet gang , who was on Epstiens flight lists etc.
And land it square on the "climate change" non issue

Trudeau seems to come up in every thread.

I need this heat wave to melt some of the 3 feet of snow that's still blocking me from some excellent early season fly fishing.

That jackass Al Gore promised us that snow would be a thing of the past by 2013. He lied. But his hoax did enable him to purchase 4 mansions as gullible leftists lined up to empty their wallets into his bank account.

agree 100%, honestly does anyone really need a warning, my god, i am sure anyone with half a brain can figure it out,
Agreed. It's like all of a sudden hitting the low to mid-thirties is now considered a heatwave when we've reached thirties many many times previously during the same time of year. In fact, for the last 15 years, May has been rather cool. When my family first moved to Vernon in the late 90's our house had a rather large inground pool (16'x32'x10') and we would always have it running in May. It takes a lot of heat to warm up 144,000 liters of water and all we had was solar panels yet it was very comfortable to swim in by the end of May.

By the end of June, we would shut the panels off when the water temp would reach 30c in prep for the 40degrees we would get in July/August. FYI, We didnt have central air in that house.

My dad is a retired government meteorologist/oceanographer and says the OP meteorologist is out to lunch. People move to the Okanagan for the semi-arid hot weather. I hope today is hot. If I may add, my trees and weeds look much healthier with more CO2.

I am sure the vulnerable wouldn’t be at risk if government paid for care facility A/C, rather than pay for new climate positions to toot their own horn that the sky is falling.

I guess this is a warning for Canadians not to travel south to places like Arizona where it is much hotter. Apparently from what we have read in the news, this kind of heat will kill us. So be forwarned and stay north or you will become deceased, at least according to the media . Also, I recall it being 41 degrees celsius here in Kelowna around 1991. I wonder how many people perished from that heat here in kelowna?
Please stop making things up. I've just came back from Cuba. No "killing heat" there, just a nice warm beach time, margaritas, girls walking by in skimpy bikinis, awesome food, ... that's it!

Hope it works better than most others in the summer. I have a heat pump and it can't keep the place cooler than 25 when it's over 35 outside.
