Happy now bob?

Want true representative democracy? Quit relying on slogans …. Find an independent candidate that will be loyal to people and not some party that forces them to sign non-disclosure agreements that’s meant to silence the individual … the party system is nothing but organized crime …

And what exactly can an independent get done for me? A little squeak coming from the back bench that is ignored by all .

Agreed . Other than a weak voice that will largely be ignored , I'd prefer a candidate that has values that align with mine AND federally is the way to go IMO . And if scrapping a "policy" that is economically devastating to individual and national interests is a mere "slogan" , then so is the one said policy was created with ..

I sort of agree with you here. Which I don't normally do. But there are dozens of polls with the NDP winning all of them, and even in this article they post one where the NDP is winning by a huge margin right at the last paragraph.

But they make a media headline out of the only Poll where the NDP is not winning! LOL!

But they did provide one useful piece of information in this article, and that is that the BC United party would actually have done better if they kept their old name! There's a certain percentage of people who will vote liberal no matter if the liberal party is right wing or left wing. They just vote for the name. So now those people won't vote United! And that will cost you BC United five points, and maybe half their seats. This article says they will win no seats but that's just this one poll. Other polls have them at more like 10 seats.

Of course now that they have put this propaganda out there, it will probably shift voters toward the conservatives, and that will further sink the BC United, and maybe even the NDP will take a huge hit because voters will think the conservatives have momentum, and a lot of people just like to go with the momentum wherever it is going.

A lot of people need to go with the momentum of current massive, continuous failings as well.

You do know they can present bills in the legislature don’t you? You do know they can vote with or against any party don’t you? Try thinking about what they can do for you and come to your own conclusions rather than having someone think about it for you … sort of like letting some party decide what your priorities are going to be rather than you deciding what the priorities need to be …

Shocking news !! Without the backing of a major party in agreement they are a squeak coming from the back bench .

Well when you’ve got parties that are organized much like organized crime it takes a while for things to change … and then of course they all operate under things like non-disclosure agreements which is the same as the sinister tactic of censorship (might be mistaken but the mafia uses something similar too don't they?) … not to forget that they’ve become very good at creating flocks of useful idiots that will do their bidding without question all in the name of the party (which by the has parties that you’re not invited to) that is like a club and you’re not really in it no matter how much you donate …

Think about it … that is unless you want them to do all the thinking for you …the truth is that before 1903 there were no political, parties until the demise of democratic practices occurred with the election of BC’s first parties in 1903 … places like the NWT have no political parties calling the shots in their legislature and operate as a consensus government where every MLA has a say and aren’t drown out by a bunch of talking heads that parrot lines …
