I’m seriously considering voting for the BC Conservatives, not because I like their policies (I don’t really know what they are) but because I’m upset with the more radical version of the NDP under Eby, and am still mad at the Liberals (despite their new name).

I hate to vote AGAINST a Party, rather than FOR a Party, but right now that seems to be my only option.

Consider someone that’s running as an independent … no one should have to hold their nose when voting … if it smells like pooh it’s pooh …

That's what a lot of people are thinking. My concern is who to vote for if you have a popular United MLA. If there's also a Conservative running, those two could split the vote and allow an NDP candidate to win.

The whole idea of vote splitting needs to be debunked … the political parties have all become arrogant in the use of the term because every vote is important and can make a difference … in the last local election one of the mayoral races was decided by a coin toss …

 same for me. I definitely do not want a liberal party, and absolutely hate what the NDP has done to this province. Their policies are in the works right now, we all know and see what they are, and pretty much all are failing us. So conservative party gets my vote and let's hope most demand a change and it's hopefully for the better of the province. Because right now it sure isn't anything to be happy about.

Finally some reassuring news.
The Conservative Party and the United Party are in negotiations.
And they are talking to Brad West, Mayor of Port Coquitlam to lead the party.
Brad West is very highly respected by all parties, though maybe not by Eby any more.

Heck, West has NDP blood in him but if that's what it takes to bring down the NDP, go for it. West has impressed me every time I've seen him on TV.

If this new party defeats the NDP, the first thing they need to do is tear up that racist document, UNDRIP.

And maybe then we can work on getting BCs economy back in order. And after that, Canada's economy. Got that Justin? We're coming for you.

Maybe they want a new name for this party, how about the U-CON PARTY. [icon_lol2.gif]

Damn, I'm breathing a little easier tonight.

The election is coming on or before October 19th. Are you ready? Will the BCNDP win in a massive landslide or will the BCU (BC United Party) disappear?

Seems to me another poll is hacked by a Liberal.

I would prefer to see the NDP booted out of existence, along with their health minister, Bonnie Henry, Singh and all of 'em. All of 'em! Bring in the Conserverators with a dab of united if necessary.

Sure looks like there's some funny business going on. Polls are generally changed daily, and 10,000 votes seems a little out of line with reality.

Yes, that echoes pretty close to what 338Canada is reporting as well.

Yes, the change since yesterday evening seems statistically improbable.

Here we go the start of the election campaigning and already the typical left leaning fear tactics our first out of the gate, by none other than Eby. What a loser, never once has spoken about the Federal Liberals party, but now it's vitally important that he warns us of such a thought here in BC. Falcon is a far left party supporter, and no conservative party should be dumb enough to join with the likes of him

More likely than not, there will be a union of the BC Conservatives and BC United to form a solid “conservative” opposition to the NDP. If that happened and the members could agree on a “common sense platform” then a minority government could be a possibility. OMG, deja cue all over again, the Greens holding the balance of power!
