1500 jobs! High paying jobs!
Great news!
De Havilland Aircraft of Canada plans to build an airplane manufacturing plant east of Calgary, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said Wednesday morning.
Kenney was speaking at a Toronto news conference as part of a provincial campaign to draw skilled workers to Alberta when he made the announcement.
Three lines of aircraft will be produced at the facility, Kenney said, and it is hoped that will eventually be upped to four.
"[It] will help to employ 1,500 high-paying manufacturing workers in a game-changing investment for manufacturing in Alberta," he said.

The Calgary area had several factors working in its favour to host the new aircraft manufacturing complex, such as a lower cost of living for employees, a young workforce and affordable housing prices, Chafe said.
“We had to have a new home. What we’re looking to create here you can’t really create something like that in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and be economical at this point in time,” he added, noting the company will retain its existing operations in Victoria and Toronto.
“We thought it was a great area for us to grow our existing footprint . . . the foundation and the heartbeat is going to be here in Alberta.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Now what can JT and SellOut do to make sure this fails?

Sorry….I am suspicious when a golden opportunity appears that Niberals cannot keep their hands off from.

LOL! The far right UCP is going full sovereign citizen! [icon_lol2.gif]

The UCP are such an embarrassment.
Conservatives who spend all day, every day arguing with strangers on the internet are such embarrassing losers and truly just so dumb.

Some right wingers definitely have a secret folder full of naked Hunter Biden photos.

Tech giant Infosys opens downtown office with plans to hire 1,000 workers by 2024
https://calgaryherald.com/news/local-ne ... rs-by-2024
“Today is the beginning of our next chapter in Canada as we open the Infosys Digital Centre in Calgary,” Ravi Kumar, president of Infosys, said in a press release. “Calgary’s IT innovation potential is unlimited, and we are delighted to be a part of its future.”

Kumar said Calgary was chosen due to its booming tech centre, access to talent and strategic talent that allow Infosys to work with clients across sectors, such as energy, natural resources and agriculture.
I guess Infosys doesn't know what they are getting into.... you know the far right Alberta. [icon_lol2.gif] [icon_lol2.gif]

I doubt they'd be doing it if they could see any chance of the draconian NDP scum taking power any time soon.
