Is Canada Becoming a Police State?

Let the fun begin!!

The nay-sayers will say to move this to the Conspiracy forum but there's quite a bit that pertains to things Harper and crew have already done both publicly and secretly, what some Canadian politicians have said in public, as well as some of the shenanigans with Olympic security.

It's worth a look.

The best way for the authorities, and criminals to control the people that are around them is fear. The little experiment that seems to be slowly drawing to a close involving the tazers ... and the fear that the police tried to put into the general public by using them indiscriminately in all sorts of circumstances.....certainly proves that..................

so many of the general public, tend to believe they have nothing to fear as long as they're good little boys and girls and never cross the line of thinking for themselves....the government and the authorities know what's best for me, and most certainly will protect me in my time of need :dyinglaughing:

No, not yet. I can't help but think it will be inevitable at some point. I hope and want to be optimistic that our leaders will make good decisions, unfortunately judging from history, whether recent or ancient, things do not bode well.

Is Canada a police state? No.

Is it becoming one? Doubt it.

If someone here wants to bring up an overarching hypothesis on why we're becoming one, I'd be glad to listen/debate with them on this topic.

No, it's not a police state.

PS: That video is awesomely inane.
