That's quite sad.

If you ask kids now, they probably know nothing about WW1.

Very sad.

If history repeats itself, like it often does, once all we have are memories and passed down stories of wars gone by it will be that much easier to convince a new generation of the "glories" of war.

WWI, WWI, Korean War - what? What were those again? If they've heard of them at all, they've been mentioned in passing as examples of why mankind was so brutal and uncivilized in the last century and why we are all so lucky now to have the UN working out all of our differences for us, as we as a species have evolved past war now and don't need to learn about the sacrifices of past generations to enjoy the freedoms we take so for granted now.
