The lowest of the low. BTW, this happens frequently in hospitals and extended-care homes. Seems there are a lot of "good-hearted" people about.
It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

I think they should make him a live organ donor. They can strap him down to a gurney and just keep taking whatever they want. Now that's justice.

Nada's going to happen to that guy, it's our catch and release program at it's finest. Someday he'll be convicted of murder and some journalistic wit will come out and show this guys elongated rap sheet to the public and everyone will gasp in unison, "didn't anyone see this coming?"
If Putin stopped, he'd be saving Russian lives as well.

Thanks, NormaM. How about jewels for jewels?? Family jewels in exchange for the lady's jewels. But live organ donors works for me, too. Not even tranquilized - fully awake and screaming will be okay with me.

It's so awful that they did it - I hope they get the other guy and that both get long sentences. I think her husband should get to decide what happens to them

WHY IS CANADA SO SOFT ON CRIME?? We must figure out ways for criminals to pay for the crimes they commit. Has anyone noticed -- crime is getting to be epidemic and a way of life in Canada? Surely we are not going to let crime get completely out of hand and make fools out of the hard working Canadian Citizen!
Taxpayers, you should not be expected to pay the way for criminals. At this rate, we won't be able to afford the number of prisons needed to look after these creeps. Let's become intolerant to crime. Instead of so many prisons, perhaps convert some into Learning Institutions. Rehabilitate and teach them to become productive citzens. The only deterent -- make em work, make em pay for as long as it takes to pay off their debt to society. C'mon Politicians, we have a growing problem. We expect you to come up with the answers and ways to smarten up our Justice System!
