Wrong....learn a little history, that was a name and the Con Hitler used to gain power, not their ideology or where Nazis stood on the political spectrum. Hitler HATED Communists (he murdered 20 million of them) and socialists.

I majored in History and I studied both world wars extensively. I trust my first hand knowledge from years of research and countless assignments over a user submitted "Wikipedia" article. They campaigned on a right wing socialist platform promoting "Germany first". Because of Germany's out of control inflation and failing economy due to the restrictions in place from the first world war the people quickly bought into Hitlers invigorating speeches. After achieving a victory in the 1933 election Hitler quickly created the Gestapo and the StormTroppers (SA/SS) and had all opposition leaders executed or arrested. He then created the "Enabling Act" to finalize his totalitarian dictatorship over the German people.

So he was a Socialistic Fascist. Nothing remotely close to a Conservative.
