As of April 1, Horgan is imposing a 1.5 cent gas tax on top of all the others. More to come as he brings in even higher Horgan Carbon Taxes which he easily admits have nothing to do with carbon. BC will have the highest gas prices in N America this Summer. Stay away and support the environmental jihadists.

For those out of Province, stay away, DO NOT holiday in BC. as you WILL be ripped off. Everything you buy will be more expensive. Support NDP Horgan and the Weaver Greens by spending your money somewhere it is appreciated. If you have a holiday property, sell it, fast. Trudeau's Communist Chinese have lots of money to launder.

If you do need to travel from out of Province, fill the tank as full as you can. Carry extra if possible. Buy only enough to get you out of the Province and bring your own food. Common sense economy.

While I don't think higher prices and taxes will detour people from bringing tourism to our Province, and I would for sure not detour people from visiting our province because of a Government tax increase. The 1000's of people and communities that live on tourism are really the only people your logic will punish.

Theres an awful lot of conspiracy theory in that small post. I find it really hard to believe that the gas and oil companies agreed to collude with the government to temporarily lower gas prices. Especially not as part of a left wing conspiracy, I mean the oil / gas companies are historically proponents of right wing conspiracies.

The carbon tax has bumped up gas prices by 1.2 cents a litre, which stations have rounded up to two cents.

Gotta love how despite gas prices being given to the tenth of the cent at the pump, gas companies used this as an excuse to “round” the prices up by another .8c/litre. At least the carbon taxes go back into our country to be used for Canadians. This extra “rounding” just rounds the gas companies profits higher at our expense.
