If he knew the stop sign was there he would seen the bus and probably would've made the same effort to avoid the collision as the bus driver.

Well, my belief is you do not, nor ever have actualy driven any
form of vehicle, and therfore never travelled in unfamiliar
territory.
Never been lost, how blessed.

Either that or just being purposely obtuse.

Yes. ...In this case I will continue defending the position that he did not intend for this to happen and that something similar could happen to me, you, or anyone.

Apparently, this driver missed them and he killed and injured a bunch of people. And he plead guilty and is willing to face the consequences.
What's your point?

Okay. Were you not distracted the first time you pulled a super b or even a heavy triaxle that has some gong show going on with tarps or straps or tires or...? How do you feel learning a machine that's new to you with little or no sleep? Fatigued and distracted ?...maybe not 'all there'?

Why not ? You're a great driver.
Expound some of your 35 yrs. as a commercial driver on us and
what it was like in your first month, year, ten years......

I have my guesses why you would be reluctant, but instead spew rage
into the unknown and deflect.
