Small Business confidence plummets in November

Small Business confidence plummets in November

Postby The Green Barbarian » Dec 27th, 2018, 7:34 am

https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/business-confidence

I just heard about this being reported on BNN, but I see nothing anywhere else in our Trudeau-friendly media. Why is business confidence plummeting in Canada? What are you doing about this "Dimples" Morneau? Anything???

Don't worry, Justin said the economy will grow from the heart outwards.

If that isn't enough to instill business confidence, I don't know what will.

I wonder how much his fellow peanut-chuckers in the Liberal party believe JT's giant pile of BS, it would be interesting to find out. The reality is that everyone is losing confidence in JT's empty vacuous routine, including our small business owners.

The peanut chucking libs don't believe or disbelieve, just parrot from the party line book of "excuses and deflection arguments."

Actually no. This is just the Conservatives doing their usual peanut chucking without reference to the facts. Any reading above 50 indicates an improvement. Spin the chart out for a little longer and you realize the November reading is better than most of the Conservative blunder decade.

Another fact, pardon me Conservative peanut chuckers, is that the world economy, the Canadian economy, and the US economy included, is expected to slow some in 2019. The primary factor being T.Rump and his foolishness.

As for what the Liberals did about that? How about the CPTPP - which is slowly starting to come into play? How about CETA - which is slowly starting to come into play? How about getting the best we could out NAFA 2.0? How about the accelerated depreciation tax cut?? How about spending a bunch on needed infrastructure??

Nothing anybody can do about T.Rump and his bogus "national security" road apple stuff. The steel and aluminum tariffs have wide ranging impacts that are beyond the control of Canadian government, such as costing GM $1 billion off their bottom line and pressuring them to go a cost cutting rampage.

Given the background, it is good to see that business confidence remains strong, although not as strong as it was.

And what has Dimples Scheer proposed? Nada. Nothing. "Well...er, ah maybe, ummm, soon I'll have a plan, you'll see after the next polls come in."

This has nothing to do with the Conservatives, or "peanut chucking", this is just a survey of small businesses in Canada, and they are worried about our brainless government, and their stupid policies. I like your deflection though. Any bad news about JT the Dumb-Dumb and his gang of peanut-chuckers in the Liberal party is somehow the fault of the Conservatives. Time to stop pointing fingers and start looking at this diseased gang of Liberal dumb-dumbs that you continue to blindly support. The Liberals are living on borrowed time.

This guy is no "Conservative", and no "peanut chucker" either. He just knows what he knows, and he knows that the Liberals hate oil, they hate Alberta, and just like brain-dead idiots running BC, they are being influenced by the Tides Foundation in their idiotic policy.

It's not just businesses that find it difficult to make a go of it in Canada....one of our most productive, transfer payment (not recipient), and most weary of JTs peanut chucking crowd is our neighbour, the Province of Alberta. There are plans in the making to rid themselves of this flea bitten confederation.

And who can blame them? Two Trudeau's have resulted in Albertans being put on life support, and isn't another Trudeau generation on the horizon to cause future head banging all across Canada? There are those out there that really would vote for this sorryarse destructive, thoughtless and dangerous family again.

Would that we could decide now, once and for all, to split the West from the bloodsucking East. If only we could have a vote on that issue. It must be possible as Quebec gave it a whirl, failed by a whisker and have been rewarded handsomely ever since by the feds.

The interview is conducted by a CBC radio host (bought, paid for by peanut chucking libs) but even so, through the sneers, a very thoughtful and engaging mind speaks out.

Go to CBC radio, As It Happens, Dec 19, ALBREXIT.

Sorry, my ipad will notcarry link from this CBC radio program.

The economy was just rolling along in the US by the time Trump ascended to his throne (it began to recover in Canada after Trudeau was elected and Harper was turfed), and although the US stock market was briefly buoyed further by his reckless tax cuts (holy increased debt and deficit Batman), it was only going to be a matter of time before some of the real possible consequences of his presidency were realized. Trump's legacy could be his inspiring of a global recession brought on by trade wars. He could do our economy real harm - because hey, he wants us all to know who's boss. Hey, he might even be responsible for starting another war. Yes, under the circumstances of living next door to this imbecilic moron, and in spite of everything Trudeau has done, it is a wonder small business has any confidence in the economy at all. Interesting times.

Wow. A $56 BILLION sell off in the fund market in 2 weeks. Trudeau's stupidity is causing a massive flight of capital from this country. And yet, his peanut chucking supporters think he walks on water. When will they wake the hell up?

Make that a triple WOW!!

I thought the projected deficit for 2018 looked astronomical at a mere $18 Billion in the hole

But to see in a one week period $56 Billion pick up its skirts and flee!

We should all be trembling as it looks like revenues that the gov't needs for its profligate spending is drying up, and that means they are coming for you and your wallet (not that they weren't already, but now, with more aggression and purpose)

Sheeple, prepare for fleecing and then a skinning.

You're right. Average Joe Taxpayer is already paying between $800 and $1,100 more in income taxes today than when Trudeau showed up.

Trudeau's attempt to pry open your bank account for a closer look is simply his way of looking for crumbs in your cupboard that he can expropriate to fulfill his U.N. dream with a quickly ailing economy.

The peanut chucker Liberal supporters better take some yoga lessons. They too are going to be bent over big time by Mr. Fancy Socks.

yes, we can thank Obama in the US and Harper in Canada for the great economy we have now. It's too bad all the hard work of those two gentlemen is being squandered by the men who took over, especially in Canada, as small business confidence continues to plummet in the face of idiotic policy of our dumb-dumb PM. 2019 elections can't come fast enough. Maybe quick inhalations of JT gaseous emissions encourages the belief that they will be immune from Lib pocket-picking?

Sorry, but I can't come up with much better to explain their silence.
