With the deficits the Libs are going to continue running the tax will need to go up to Acasio Cortez crazy 70% levels lol. Once the carbon tax hits many businesses have already said they are going to pull up their roots and go elsewhere. So the only place to get lost tax revenue will be from us. Great planning, so progressive lol.

If you consider that our taxes give us superior health care to the US, a better education system, and gasp, better pensions, we are better off. The Conservative solution to all these things is to give the wealthy another tax cut like Steverino did a few years ago. And there are some middle class and even lower income class people who fall for this conservative shell game nonsense.

Walk into a hospital in this country. They ask for your health care card, not your credit card. And some want to turn us into USA north. With guns included.

1: liberal spending is less than conservative spending.

2: AOC’s plan of 70% would not affect anyone on this forum, as it refers only to the ultra rich. Additionally it is inline with what taxes in the US used to be before those taxes were cut for shortsighted political gain. Even Donald Trump during his election said such taxes would be appropriate for people like himself (that is until he actually got elected and gave himself a tax cut instead...)

3: businesses will always say they’re gonna go elsewhere and make idol threats. Most wont. And any that do would have anyway. Remember, Bc has had a carbon tax for several years already.
"Dishwashers, the dishwasher, right? You press it. Remember the dishwasher, you press it, there'd be like an explosion. Five minutes later you open it up the steam pours out, the dishes -- now you press it 12 times, women tell me again." - Trump

Both our health care & education are very good systems, I do suspect they could be run more efficiently (just my personal opinion).

lets be very clear for you liberal socialist knotheads out there The Canadian medicine system is FAR inferior to the US system
I simply don't know where or how one gets off saying Canadas superior?? the fact that for the working fully employed none union etc person they have to pay for insurance and we don't is irrelevant to the unbelievable (great) usa health care available but yes expensive for sure ;;;Both nations supply free medical to the rest of societys dead beats

we definatly pay for medical albeit by huge indirect taxes on booze, food ,FUELS etc the overall cost of living in the uSA is 50% cheaper than Canada in most states and citys etc (some exceptions regarding lodging)

No, the point is people here actually believe that our tax rates are astronomical compared on a global scale when in fact, they're not.

Any who, the real question is why is there like 4 threads on the exact topic? [icon_lol2.gif]
