Everything about this piece of crap is fake.

Trudeau's fake MacBook photo draws hilarious reaction online

Is Justin Trudeau capable of keeping it real? The PM has been accused of being a fake feminist over his own Kokanee groping past and his treatment of women while in government, and his wearing of blackface had many question his claims of fighting racism.

But using a fake MacBook to try to look cool?

The Liberal Party posted photos showing Trudeau kicking off a training session for party volunteers. Astute Toronto Sun journalist Bryan Passifiume noticed something unusual about Trudeau’s laptop and posted to Twitter about it — the reaction from readers is hilarious.

Passifiume is right, there is nothing authentic with this laptop from the wonky Apple logo sticker to the non-Apple charge cord. For some reason, Team Trudeau wanted to make it look like he was on a cool MacBook instead of a dodgy old (but reliable) HP PC laptop.

First off, they are not children running Canada's foreign affairs. That's pure partisan garbage.
Second off, they are children running Canada's foreign affairs. Saying otherwise is pure partisan garbage.
If Centerra thinks the Canadian government should com e running to their aid with there poor record - tough luck!
The brain-dead Liberal children running our Foreign Affairs for the idiot Liberals should be fighting for our Canadian interests. Just disgusting that anyone would support an evil foreign government stealing Canadian resources and taking what isn't theirs, but given the evil legacy of Pierre Trudeau why doesn't this surprise anyone? The Liberals are weak-kneed children, so of course, foreign powers will get away with stealing Canadian assets abroad, every single time. For shame Liberals! For shame Justin you weak-kneed coward!!
So CPC partisans support mining companies that dump tailings on glaciers that supply water to villages. Interesting see CPC partisans confirm that the O'Toole CPC is just a lapdog shilling for corporate $$$. Meanwhile the current Trudeau government is actually trying to protect our environment and find the right balance that will produce sustainable economic activity.

Centerra looks to be the worst kind of corporation, and then whining that the Canadian government should step in and protect their bad behavior is just stupid. The residents of BC are quite aware of the damage that improperly handled mine tailings cause. It looks like CPC partisans support dumping mine tailings any old place and to heck with the consequences - because the CPC is just a corporate marketing shill. The Trudeau Liberals should indeed simply say to Centerra "you polluted, you pay" and "tough luck".

No wonder the Trudeau Liberals are ahead in BC.

Ted Morton: Line 5 fiasco shows Trudeau is a failure on energy policy

The Line 5 controversy highlights Justin Trudeau’s failure to protect one of the most important sectors of Canada’s economy. His infatuation with climate change apocalypse has left Canada’s energy sector at the mercy of partisan American politics. The Line 5 battle has also made it clear that new export pipelines are no longer just an Alberta issue. Forty-five per cent of all the oil used by Ontario and Quebec comes through Line 5. If Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer ever succeeds in shutting the pipeline down, there would be economic chaos in both provinces.

Our prime minister has no credibility to challenge either Whitmer or President Joe Biden on the Line 5 shutdown. Trudeau is the Gretchen Whitmer of Canada. Everything she talks about doing to shut down Canada’s oil and gas sector, Trudeau has actually done! Why didn’t our prime minister directly phone Biden to request help with Line 5? He knew the White House would not pick up the phone.

Whitmer and her anti-pipeline allies may have lost this round, as Line 5 is still operating, but their “defeat” adds to and strengthens the Blockadia movement’s narrative to stigmatize and block oil pipelines from Canada.

Six years of Trudeau’s climate change odyssey has left both Central Canadian consumers and Western producers vulnerable to the changing whims of American politics. Eighty per cent of Canada’s oil production, 99 per cent of our exports, are sold to the U.S. at well below global prices. The future of the Canadian oil and gas sector depends on economically competitive access to new global markets and higher global prices.

This is an opportunity that Erin O’Toole and the Conservative Party should seize. They should stop taking their Western base for granted and catering to swing voters in Ontario and Quebec. No more “Liberal lite” policies like the recently announced mini-carbon tax. Rather they should use the Line 5 issue to seize this historic opportunity to build a majority coalition that unites Western and Central Canadians around energy security. They can start by publicizing two recent studies — one from Ontario , the other from Quebec — that both document how the oil and gas sector benefits all Canadians.

SNIP

Quebec claims it can do this amendment unilaterally, without the consent of any other provinces. But this is far from clear. Suffice it to say that Alberta and Ontario might be more willing to support Bill 96 in exchange for Quebec’s support for some of their priorities. With Biden’s veto of Keystone XL, there is a strong case for resurrecting the Energy East pipeline . Quebec has already signalled its willingness to join with Alberta and Ontario to repeal the federal carbon tax; and, even more important for protecting provincial jurisdiction in the future, reverse the disastrous Supreme Court decision that upheld it. Last but not least, there are also the much needed reforms to the federal equalization program, which would benefit Ontario and BC as well as Alberta. Conservative Party strategists should note that together, these three provinces combined represent 70 per cent of Canada’s population.

Canada has a leadership void and an energy policy vacuum that is calling out for help. Erin O’Toole should answer this call.

"Thanks to the good sense of Canadians, we’re about to out-vaccinate the Americans"

The Trudeau Liberals and our provincial governments have Canada headed to be one of the most vaccinated countries in the world - very shortly. We were never going to be fastest out of the gate, but the strategy of buying lots from every potential suppliers has paid off, and our provincial health care systems are getting the job done.

None of that happens without Canadians who are overwhelmingly wanting to get vaccinated. In the marathon to "herd immunity" Canada still has a ways to go, but Canadians are stepping up as supplies of vaccines are now keeping up.

We can't take the "foot off the gas" - but it really does look like "herd immunity" might be achievable by the time school starts in September.

Fair enough, but the Foreign Affairs are run by unqualified children, so nothing will be done.

No wonder the Trudeau Liberals are ahead in BC.
Let me guess, this is according to some fixed stupid poll no doubt. Who cares - let's have the election right now. It's the only way to end the evil we have in Ottawa right now. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing. It's time for good men to do something about the Liberals.

Ah, the denialism of the CPC shows up again. Reality is that all the polling companies (yup, private companies) have the Trudeau Liberals ahead in BC. And Yup, the NDP are fast catching the CPC for second place in BC. https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/electio ... er/canada/

You go ahead and beat that drum, it has no basis in reality. The Trudeau Liberals operate in the real world. The real world has circumstances and context, unlike the fantasy-land of the right wing.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/federa ... -1.6031024

"The federal government today announced a $200-million investment to help a Mississauga, Ont.-based company build a plant that can churn out millions of mRNA vaccines.

Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne said the money will be used to expand an existing site owned by Resilience Biotechnologies Inc. to provide "made-in-Canada solutions such as vaccines and treatments for future pandemics."

The funds will expand Resilience's manufacturing and fill-finish capacity for a number of vaccines and therapeutics, including mRNA shots like the ones now being used to fight COVID-19, Champagne said.

The government says the plant expansion will create 500 permanent jobs and 50 co-op placements for students once construction is complete in 2024."

The Trudeau Liberals continue to make moves to improve Canada's positioning for the future. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archi ... ld/618431/

"But mRNA’s story likely will not end with COVID-19: Its potential stretches far beyond this pandemic. This year, a team at Yale patented a similar RNA-based technology to vaccinate against malaria, perhaps the world’s most devastating disease. Because mRNA is so easy to edit, Pfizer says that it is planning to use it against seasonal flu, which mutates constantly and kills hundreds of thousands of people around the world every year. The company that partnered with Pfizer last year, BioNTech, is developing individualized therapies that would create on-demand proteins associated with specific tumors to teach the body to fight off advanced cancer. In mouse trials, synthetic-mRNA therapies have been shown to slow and reverse the effects of multiple sclerosis. “I’m fully convinced now even more than before that mRNA can be broadly transformational,” Özlem Türeci, BioNTech’s chief medical officer, told me. “In principle, everything you can do with protein can be substituted by mRNA.”

In principle is the billion-dollar asterisk. mRNA’s promise ranges from the expensive-yet-experimental to the glorious-yet-speculative. But the past year was a reminder that scientific progress may happen suddenly, after long periods of gestation. “This has been a coming-out party for mRNA, for sure,” says John Mascola, the director of the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “In the world of science, RNA technology could be the biggest story of the year. We didn’t know if it worked. And now we do.”

Exactly. There is NO basis in reality to saying anything positive about the Liberals COVID response, their horrible actions on vaccinations and their insane spending spree.

The tone deaf people running the Liberals screw up again.
John Ivison: Liberals are deaf to their own MPs, never mind the opposition
Long-time Hamilton politico Bob Bratina won't run again, after senior Liberals pushed through a local LRT proposal without seeking his opinion

Bob Bratina is the kind of MP every party needs — a master of the local, who grew up in his riding and knows its streets, its people and their preoccupations.

The former mayor and veteran broadcaster is the Liberal Party’s eyes and ears in downtown Hamilton, Ont., Canada’s ninth-biggest city.

Or at least he will be until the next election.

Bratina said on Monday he will not seek re-election, following the announcement that the federal government and the Province of Ontario will co-fund a $3.4 billion LRT system that he has spent years opposing as a councillor and then as the city’s mayor.

Bratina said it is not a decision he can support at the doorsteps in a general election, and so he will walk away from a contest that he is well-placed to win.

“There is a key tradition in our Westminster parliamentary system of government, that when an issue arises that cannot be supported on a matter of principle, one sometimes finds it necessary to take a step like this,” he said.

Bratina is a popular figure in caucus for his willingness to speak out — the product of age (he’s 76) and experience (the son of an immigrant steelworker from Zagreb, he started work in the Dofasco mill before embarking on a 45-year career in radio broadcasting and play-by-play announcing for the Hamilton Ti-Cats and Toronto Argonauts).

He is as blunt as he is dry — on learning I’d had a second son 18 years after the first, he said I might be the only person in the country eligible to claim the Canada Pension Plan and Canada Child Benefit at the same time.

But this is a bigger deal than an MP being out of step with his party.

Even though the Liberals lost nearly a million votes in 2019, Bratina saw his count rise, beating his NDP challenger by 10 points.

SNIP

Nobody who has met Bratina could describe him as conceited, so when he says “nobody knows more about this project than me,” it should be taken at face value.

He went out of his way in his press release to acknowledge that politics is often about compromises and, while he is candid, he has not been outspoken.

“I’m a good and faithful warrior,” he said.

But to have found out about this announcement through the media appears to have been a humiliation too far.

“If they trust you, they should take you seriously. My point is that, even if I have criticisms of the project, it would be wise (for the minister) to understand other points of view,” he said.

And now Trudeau has come out in support of the Quebec bill that targets English-speaking communities.
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/t ... li=AAggNb9

Trudeau says that he supports the use of French and the strengthening of Francophone communities across the country. That was Trudeau’s main reaction to a bill by the Quebec government that would restrict English-language rights.

Trudeau even said that the province is able to change the constitution, as it applies to Quebec, to say that Quebec is a nation and French is its language.

Remember when Ontario wanted to shutdown a promised French-language university? And Trudeau came out against the Ford government accusing them of not standing up for minority language rights.

Well Mr. Justin "I'm all for Quebec" Trudeau, how about English language rights in Quebec?

Really though, we should let Trudeau go about with his love for French and hate for English in Quebec. He's cutting his own throat.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Justin's inside voice is probably high-fiving Fortin. Sexual deviants love like-minded people.

And why didn't he punt Fortin as soon as he learned of the investigation? Because he had his minions working 24/7 to bury this one too, but someone decided to speak up and leaked it. Disgusting pig!

Justin Trudeau says he first learned weeks ago that the general overseeing Canada's vaccination campaign was under investigation, which the prime minister described on Tuesday as "not an ideal situation."

The comments during a regular COVID-19 update represented the first from Trudeau since the Department of National Defence announced late Friday that Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin was being replaced because of an unspecified military investigation.

A source who was granted anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly told The Canadian Press that the investigation relates to an allegation of sexual misconduct.

CTV News has reported that Fortin is being investigated for having allegedly exposed himself to a woman while he was an officer cadet at the Royal Military College in Saint-Jean, Que., in 1989.

There's a huge party in Justin's cottage today! There's cause for celebration among Liberals across the country!

Finally, they're rid of the one man who showed us exactly what goes on in the Liberal Party of Canada.
