#1) looks more of traditional hunting rifle/hunter of wild game.
#2) looks more like a want to be soldier/hunter of humans.
At least you tried, Gordy, whereas the Liberal pumperpoodle showed her complete lack of understanding of firearms but she feels very qualified to tell us what we should do with them.

These are exactly the same firearm, a Ruger 10/22, commonly used for hunting grouse and rabbits.

Liberals get so scared they wet their pants when they see the bottom one.
I am not a gun person.

More people died of smoking within a 30 km radius of Kelowna this year than in all of Canada from guns.

Every year in Canada, second-hand smoke causes 800 deaths from lung cancer and heart disease in non-smokers.

Deaths from firearms: 249 (2018)

Not really showing the true breakdown. One year of gun deaths compared to those by smoking over probably decades.

Firearms have been around decades too.

2014 to 2018 stats. No huge variation, 215 average. Notable that firearms deaths have risen under Justin Trudeau, though.

Total firearms 155 179 223 267 249

Smokes kill more innocent bystanders than firearms, period. But since the tobacco industry is centered largely in vote-rich PQ and ON, nobody's gonna tackle that killer. Better to virtue signal and vilify law abiding firearms owners.

ETA: Far fewer firearms deaths 2006 - 2015 while Stephen Harper was in power - you know, when he made firearms laws so lax...so much for the effect of "tougher" firearms laws.

Total firearms 192 188 201 182 175 159 171 134 155 179

Gun Deaths Hit an All-Time High in 2020

The number of gun deaths in America hit an all-time high in 2020, owing mostly to an increase in homicides, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A total of 45,222 people died of gunshot wounds — a 14 percent jump from 2019 and the largest year-over-year rise on record.

The data, published late last month on the CDC’s interactive WONDER database, demonstrates that the pace of gun violence in the United States is accelerating quickly. Firearm injury is now the 13th leading cause of death, eclipsing car crashes for the fourth year in a row, and by a larger margin than ever before. CDC mortality data is derived from death certificates collected at the state level..........

The age-adjusted gun death rate in 2020 was 13.6 per 100,000 people — the highest since 1994.

The steep increase in gun deaths was driven largely by homicides, which spiked 35 percent between 2019 and 2020. Guns were used in a greater proportion of homicides than ever before: 79 percent, up from 74 percent in 2019.

I thought the anti gun control parrots main go to argument is that the illegal guns are sneaked over from the US.....so in that case, when the US sneezes, Canada catches the cold.

?? A bullet doesn't take decades to kill someone. You missed the point. Comparing death from smoking that takes a long time to occur to gun related deaths that are pretty much instant doesn't make sense to me.

It probably doesn't make sense to you because you don't understand firearms.
