Every poll I see shows that people love CBC programming

By that measure, CBC English-language television is failing badly. CBC’s third-quarter report shows its share of the national prime-time viewing audience dropped to 4.4 per cent (excluding Saturday), down sharply from 7.6 per cent in 2018, and trending below target for the year. Or, to turn that around: 95.6 per cent of TV-viewing Canadians do not tune in to CBC’s English language prime-time programming.

Outside of hockey, Schitt's Creek is the only show I've watched on CBC for the past several years. But in all fairness, Schitt's Creek is one of the best series I've ever seen... maybe even my favourite of all time.

Son of a Critch is another fantastic CBC comedy and it’s returning for a new season in January. And you can watch it for free with CBC Gem. And the show even acknowledges Christmas exists….

Nope, I validated this using methods used by our local cbc haters. I did a google search of 'cbc popular' and it gave 126 MILLION results. I did a google search of 'cbc unpopular' and it gave just 426,000 results. That's 99.6% of results confirming the cbc is popular. That's how we prove things here, right?

You're assuming CBC TV is the only way CBC content is consumed... and this is incorrect.

The last time I listened to CBC RADIO I was working in Tuktoyaktuk a lifetime ago and it was two choices - a Russian station or CBC , i was torn as they were both equally relevant . As far as consuming which would I choose hmmm crickets or cbc they both have meaningless chirping and tend to leave a bad taste ( not that I have sampled crickets )
