And even more good news. The UCP want to create private health care in Alberta. The dismantling of the socialist Medicare system is underway. This is free enterprise at its most basic. If someone is really ill, they will be willing to pay a lot in order to get treatment. Simple supply and demand, or command. Good news for doctors who care more about getting rich, like their American brethren, than about healing the ill.

That’s sick!
But.
More good news for the 'Alberta' environment!
Jason Kenney gets a lesson in putting up collateral for financing.

So let’s get in bed with the nefarious climate change profiteers.
Because, "We are at the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!"

This is great news - let's hope they build a better model.

What is a "climate change profiteer"?
Because, "We are at the beginning of a mass extinction,
We are? Says who?

What does the Soros puppet have to do with Alberta?

George Soros. Bah! Why do the billionaires who own all these corporations skip their taxes and hide their money so they can just line their own pockets to live their luxury lives of excessive consumerism? The majority elected government by the people is supposed to be for the welfare of all the people. And I don't mean handouts. I mean for the good of us all, with decent services like healthcare, above. For example, Elon Musk and his giant battery. Just try to get that kind of welfare out of that profiteer and his bootlicking lackeys who condone the indecent cobalt mining conditions in Africa . So Alberta, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Sorry, sometimes I love to write a good rant.
And once more, I was trusting to hear from the demographic here, as I did over on another thread and received wonderful acts of kindness for which I'm grateful. And I guess I may have met . . .. Now please forgive me, ignore what I said, and carry on . . .. Sorry for the devil . . .. Must stick to that emotional distancing mantra.

Could you answer my questions?

Nah. Maybe read the second CBC article I posted and check out the links to the resources, and then maybe I'll get back to you.

So you have no explanation for what a "climate change profiteer" is.

I agree, great news not just for Alberta, but all of Canada if this is successful.
It shouldn't cost the taxpayers anything and will take the pressure off the overburdened communist system now in place.
I'll be watching it carefully.

Ah, another socialist that despises successfully people and companies.
You do realize that when these people lead an excessive and bloated lifestyle, they are leaving hundreds of millions of dollars behind, and there are taxes paid on these toys.
Be it a luxury yacht, a 25,000 sq. ft. summer home, well clothed mistresses, or hyper sports cars, there's lots of money going out and people employed.
As for Mr. Soros, I have no idea if he pays more or less taxes than President Trump. Do you?

Re: Good News for Alberta
Jason Kenney is looking for help.
This is good news because I think he may have come to the right place.
Alberta's Recovery Plan
http://www.alberta.ca/assets/documents/ ... y-plan.pdf
Budget 2021 consultation
http://www.alberta.ca/budget-2021-consultation.aspx
Sorry, nothing specific about transfer payments for a choice but there is a space where that could be filled in under, "9. What other revenue generation ideas do you think the Alberta Government should be looking into at this time?"
There's a 250 character limit though. So, aside from suggesting it's time for a reverse on those until they are equalized to what has gone out over the years, unfortunately I didn't see much room left for creative
ing.
Still I like the box that says "No spending should be reduced."
But I don't see a box that says "No increase to taxes."
Or I would choose that one too.
However I think the best solution is to hang on until the next boom is created by the two new pipelines west and south as well as the railroad to Alaska. I mean, oil booms have always worked to the "Alberta Advantage" in the past. Right?

Re: Good News for Alberta
The good news on this is in my above post.
Nope. But I do believe the hundreds of millions of dollars people like him spend show up as his personal tax write-offs, whereas it's the supply chain that's saddled with diligently paying their taxes. And in most cases the people who work in it make a lot less than him yet pay a lot more that $750.00.
And where's the remedy in this?
Maintaining Alberta’s tax advantage (For investors like George Soros)
8. Please indicate to what extent you agree or disagree that the following would be effective ways for the Alberta Government to increase revenue.
Increasing taxes on businesses
Increasing taxes on individuals
New fees for government services
Increase fees on existing government services
Of course there is number 9. Where George’s name could be written in as a tax advantage for Alberta. Because this would probably help him with his tax write-offs, as well as gain more revenue for the government by increasing the taxes on the business and workers in his personal supply chain.
Now that's a great 'trickle down' idea. Good news!
