The Great Depression of 2021 - businesses closing up
Will 2021 be the year of the great worldwide depression?
if you see an ad for a business closing up post it on this thread.
then everyone will know if the worldwide depression is happening in 2021.
no one closing - no depression.
I'll start.
Today I saw an ad for Gold Dust jewellery store in Penticton closing up.

Starbucks on Bernard - where did it go?
Justin Trudeau- racist, elitist, liar. What a sick piece of garbage.

Plans to shift to drive thru locations have been in the works for over a year.

Re: The Great Depression of 2021 - businesses closing up
This is meaningless, business closures do not, alone, indicate a depression. Businesses close every year for many reasons. Plenty of brick and mortar retailers were struggling before the pandemic, if it's tipped them over it's because they were already teetering. Restaurants and bars are struggling, but restaurants and bars come and go, I can think of dozens of Kelowna restaurant locations that have had multiple occupants over the years.Thinktank wrote:Will 2021 be the year of the great worldwide depression?
