No actually sparki55 no it isn't buddy.
No you will get a lot of anti firearms people who think Uk is a lovely place to live and has no violence, when it in fact it is worse for violence. I witnessed 2 families across the street from each other throwing house bricks at each other. It is to show people that in fact like many have said you do not need guns to have violence. In many circumstances it is usually anything close to one's self that can be used as a weapon that someone grabs. Could be a Baseball bat, bottle rock anything.
Sorry Sparki55 it was not meant to be a dig at you i apologize.

Don't mind the bow from time to time but I'll stick with my rifles 90% of my hunting :)

Canadian police chiefs won't back handgun ban, say it wouldn't stop flow of guns into the country

The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police won’t be supporting a call for a ban on handguns despite concerns about gun violence in a number of major cities including Toronto.

Vancouver police chief Adam Palmer, who heads the organization, says Canada already has strong firearms regulations and no other law is required.

It's nice to see common sense prevail from time to time. Our police services are busy enough as it is without the government creating criminals out of ordinary people.

What is our Prime Minister thinking ? No-one can justify this if they are talking saving innocent lives.
This man and his crew make me feel sick.

Someone brought up a good point about police chiefs.
Isn't it funny how the government looks to the police for input or ideas and runs with them until it doesn't go with their intrests, and then ignore everything the police say.
Almost as good as when anti's say gun owners don't compromise, which means as long as we give and they take and offer nothing in return that is comprimise to all the anti's and Government.
Problem is, you can't argue with stupid.

It’s gotten to the point where I’m so past being angry, could go as far as saying disgusted to call myself Canadian... Sadly and with disgrace I actually voted for him (1st running, wouldn’t be caught dead doing so any other time, well until I guess we only have mail in votes) just because of that damn gateway drug. Crazy weed that actually helped my terminal father and secondly, I actually thought it would make Canada a better place and direct wasted law-enforcement funds into more violent crime prevention. So damn wrong I was, for this my sane friends, I, with disgrace and great sorrow I humbly apologize :kick:

Now, along with it. It’s also just come to my attention that under the new C 21 bill, it has basically eliminated and banned all airsoft rifles and pistols, yes kids toys but not only so, there area lot of actual groups and clubs that enjoy airsoft gun play. It also bans a lot of air/pellet/bb pistols and rifles as well. Seriously! Ya....
Just how far will this idiocy go?

What’s next after all?
Let’s see, no more vacation travel of any kind..., but of course if you have a high social score or are a politician, your exempt.
How about how big of a house you can build? Oh wait that’s already being controlled with the alc....
K how bout.....it’s endless folks. I pity the fools....

Also, I’m not too far behind Sparki55, I feel it coming on strong. They have pretty much destroyed all fun in life, eroding some of my work and income, now some my safe queens (that I truly wouldn’t miss, see them rarely maybe only once or twice every year) are going to be reclassified and confiscated/nullified, but the takin won’t end.
So just throwing in the towel and being spoon fed by the li(e)berals for life is unavoidable. So, gone are the days of family camping, hunting, fishing and relaxing . I’ll just get blitzed everyday with great scotch, sucking on a dube or stogie and just getting fat watching idiots step out of cottages to publicly address us boot lickers. Arghhh sign me up Sparki55......

I wonder if the cons changed the party platform to making firearms ownership not a 'privilege' but a right, they would get a minority out of it?
Some may view my politically incorrect opinions as harsh and may be offended by them. Some think political correctness will be our undoing.

So on the 18th Trudeau introduces Bill C-21 that attacks the most law abiding segment in Canadian society the licensed gun owner. Oh and by the way Airsoft guys C-21 banns all replica Airsoft, if it looks like a real firearm it will now be a "Prohibited Device" Then on the 19th Trudeau introduces Bill C-22 which reduces penalties for firearm trafficking and other crimes committed with a firearm, and also for drug crimes. He's a lunatic, seriously I believe he's lost his mind. https://www.canada.ca/en/department-jus ... ealed.html

It's a massive what the hell are you doing, Trudeau, moment.

Try to make criminals out of law abiding citizens, while removing penalties for actual criminals. This is complete insanity.

Trudeau reduces sentence for serious gun crimes

Two days after saying growing gun violence is 'unacceptable'

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to crack down on gun crime, then on Thursday his government introduced legislation to reduce sentences for serious gun crimes including weapons trafficking and importing.

The Liberals are getting rid of a series of mandatory minimum sentences even for people convicted multiple times of gun offences.

snip

Mandatory minimum sentences are being removed for a long list of offences including:

– Use of firearm in commission of offence

– Possession of restricted or prohibited weapon knowing possession is unauthorized

– Possession of loaded handgun

– Possession of weapon obtained through crime

– Weapons trafficking

– Unauthorized import/export of firearm

– Illegal discharge of a firearm with intent

– Robbery with firearm

– Extortion with firearm

With this bill, Justin Trudeau is showing he isn’t serious about dealing with actual gun crime and any claims otherwise are simply electoral smoke and mirrors.
