Funny why something like this isn't taken to a referendum and let the people decide, not a handful of cowardly $10,000 suits.

Besides....we can't defend property or ourselves in Canada...what do we need guns for? To hunt? If you are not FN, you can kiss that goodbye very soon as well.

Personally, I would think there would be more of an urgency to focus the torrent of illegal fentanyl and human trafficking - particularly children ( you know - the stuff the illegal gun owners shoot everyone for and ARE the problem???) instead of going after people who are NOT the problem.

As for the title, yes I do want more gun control laws for the scum that inhabit within our society and insist on shooting each other over drugs and the like.

Is this reality? Not in the least. Mine are locked up as are the majority of law abiding firearm owners who respect the PRIVILEGE of owning fire arms.

Canada , in my opinion, have laws regarding firearms that work for the most of us. Yes there will be some that " crack" and are in the news because of firearm use, don't know how to prevent that unless Canada prohibits ALL firearm ownership. Political suicide.

Don't forget - more people die of illegal drug use and legal tobacco use by an enormous margin that legal ( or even illegal ) gun owners.

It's a diversion and totally within the book of Karl Marx - you control the media, you disarm the public, and you control them with fear. Democracy is over - and the next couple of years are going to be something you would never have imagined Canada could ever become.

I warned people in 2015 when this tyrant came to power that he would sell out this country and he has. We no longer have sovereignty over our borders, nor control over our government - they rule us - they no longer work for us.

Even our own military swears allegiance to a monarch in a foreign country - not to the citizens of the country they are suppose to be protecting.

Canada is a joke, just like those running it, and will soon be unrecognizable as to what it used to be.

I'm surprised there's not a follow up if the crossbow was confiscated. I expect it comes down to evidence.
