Chinese scientists working in Canada shipped viruses to Wuhan a few months before 'rona showed up in Wuhan? What's going on here?

The president of the Public Health Agency of Canada has been given until the end of the week to explain why two Canadian government scientists were let go 18 months after being escorted from Canada's only Level 4 laboratory.

Iain Stewart told the special committee on Canada-China relations he can't go into details because of an ongoing RCMP investigation.

But after heated exchanges with opposition members of the committee, he agreed to seek legal counsel about whether he could give the committee details in confidence.

The committee agreed to give him until Friday to provide answers about why PHAC terminated the employment of Dr. Xiangguo Qiu and her husband, Keding Cheng, in January.

The pair were escorted out of the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg in July 2019 over what was described as a possible policy breach and administrative matter.

PHAC has said their departure had nothing to do with the fact that four months earlier, Qiu had been responsible for a shipment of Ebola and Henipah viruses to China's Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Why is this investigation being heavily redacted if it was a simple paperwork that was involved and will be told to the Opposition members in secret but not us?.

We know that they seized her laptop. phone and files for some other reasons and escorted them out of the Winnipeg Lab. so what actually was in those vials that were shipped to the four Labs. in Wuhan China or will we never know.

Is there any overcite in our Lab. in these matters when shipments are made or is there a fly in the ointment?.

The false claim appears to have originated on a Texas money manager’s Twitter account. On Jan. 25, Kyle Bass tweeted: “A husband and wife Chinese spy team were recently removed from a Level 4 Infectious Disease facility in Canada for sending pathogens to the Wuhan facility. The husband specialized in coronavirus research.”

then the next day, his tweet was twisted

The next day, ZeroHedge, a website that has published misinformation before, posted a story with this headline: “Did China Steal Coronavirus From Canada And Weaponize It?”

So far the official statement is that the incident had no connection to any virus being sent from Canada to China.

We can hope. The Trudeau Liberal government has a poor track record when it comes to transparency and accountability, and we may never know the truth.

Of course not everyone will believe the lab wasn't responsible but researchers are still working on all the pertinent questions:
