Stats and I never got along. I never understood the reasoning of some of the odd questions they ask, but I always fill mine in. Getting an accurate snapshot of Canada is never a bad thing IMO.

I like how people are super paranoid about govt spying on them through cell phones/vaccines/cameras but when the govt is asking what's your name/where do you live/how much money you make/what do you spend on adult toys everybody rushes in to fill it out.

The government already knows all that stuff anyway.

People shouldn't be so flippant about the census. Its used to determine several things including tax spending, transfer payments and future planning for things like health care and labour markets. It provides a snapshot of the population and demographics across the country. It helps decide, for example, schools based on areas with a high density of young families... or agriculture spending in areas high a high population of people in farming.. etc.

If you're not counted then your needs might be overlooked. Its not a joke.

I put my 2 year old down as transgender. Ask stupid questions, you get stupid answers...

Sorry my typo. 885 It was out of service all week. Thanks....now I will try them again. It was working for a day last week....then not. The 1855 340 2021 'if you have questions' number works but I gave up after being on hold for 40 min. Need a paper copy.
