Jago was born in 2016 and served as a police service dog for four years beginning in B.C.’s Lower Mainland before being transferred to Alberta.

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team said it had been directed to investigate an RCMP officer-involved shooting that took place Friday near High Prairie and resulted in the death of a 29-year-old man.

Sad to hear a service dog was killed. It does happen time to time though.
