Speaking of anti-Semitism on the Left, few do it better (other than the NDP) than the Greens, who are still in turmoil due to their Jewish leader not just jumping into the "I hate Israel" pool with the rest of the far Left people that run the Green Party. Hang in there Annamie Paul!

Remember that crazy NDP poster on here that was such a strong anti-Semite? I was shocked and saddened by her hatred of Jewish people, her disgusting comments about the "Jew nose" on Mr Hochstein.

At the time, I didn't realize what complete anti-Semites the left are - now it's apparent it is rampant in the NDP, Liberal, and Green parties. Just terrible how socialists throughout history still hold such bitter hatred toward Jewish people.

I definitely remember some comment about how Hochstein had a "hooked nose", which was such a gross racial slur. I guess I am confused as to why the far Left hates Jewish people so much, and are so willing to show this hatred in public as the Greens are doing right now? Do they not see how their hate is making them look?

Boycotting Israel for defending themselves against the evil Hamas scum is anti-Semitic, but more than that, it's just plain stupid. Like beyond stupid. And that's the part that is so silly.

Paul Estrin: Annamie Paul and the anti-Semitic wolves washed in green

The Green Party of Canada’s failure to support its leader, Annamie Paul, and her advisor, Noah Zatzman, in the face of anti-Semitic attacks appears to be part of the party’s continued effort to exclude Jewish-Canadians who are unwilling to check important aspects of their Jewish identity at the door. This is an effort that I know all too well.

In 2014, despite my successes serving as the party’s president, such as doubling the number of MPs the Greens had in Ottawa and kicking the fundraising power of the party into high gear, I was forced out, apparently for the same reason we are now witnessing in 2021, with the continued attempts to unseat Paul as leader, and after successfully expelling Zatzman.

Removing a party president and now attempting to expel a party leader over disagreements about a conflict a world away, whose implications on the Canadian environmental stage are minimal at best, would seem bizarre, except that the conflict in question involves the Jewish state.

This is despicable. The witch-hunt targeting their leader, which has been driven by extreme elements within the party and supported by the silence of much of the membership, shrieks volumes and is once again preventing the Green party from addressing its core agenda, the environment.

There is a blind spot in the Green party in the fight against racism and bigotry. While laudable efforts are being made to fight discrimination and achieve justice for marginalized groups, in Canada and around the world, the Jewish people remain open to attacks from within the party’s ranks. These attacks are not coming from those traditionally viewed as racists and anti-Semites, but from the very people who are championing the rights and freedoms of marginalized people everywhere.

New human rights organization aims to bring Canada's voice to the world

A new global human rights organization is launching in Canada this fall, aiming to be an international “voice for humanity” and to project the country’s values of “freedom, peace and human rights” across the world.

In a press release, the Abraham Global Peace Initiative — which was founded by Avi Benlolo, a National Post columnist and an expert in Holocaust studies — said it’s setting its sights on “moving the needle” when it comes to combating anti-Semitism, “standing up for Israel” and advancing global human rights, with the help of several Canadians.

“The world as we know it today is in trouble. There’s conflict almost everywhere, on every continent. We’ve seen a rise in racism, discrimination, anti-Semitism,” said Benlolo in an interview with the Post. “What we aim to do, as a Canadian organization, is really project Canada’s voice internationally; we don’t believe (its) voice is sufficiently there.”

The human rights activist and chairman of the organization said that Canada has a lot to offer to the international community, in terms of its beliefs in freedom, pluralism and inclusivity — all of which could be a model for the rest of the world.

The country also has a “good brand” internationally which, he says, is under-utilized when it comes to issues of human rights.

According to its press release, the organization aims to “bring Canada to the world,” by developing chapters everywhere, and partnering and collaborating with others globally; as well as “fighting anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.”

It will also be unrolling an educational program, which includes curricula and workshops, and will host plenaries with international speakers across the world.

I assume the Green Party won't be endorsing this organization, or any other far Left entity. How could they, given how much they hate Jewish people?
