And in case you needed to know that Alberta's advantage isn't disappearing, these guys wrote an article to assure you that it isn't. Thanks guys! Go Danielle!!

She’s the one who said she doesn’t want the feds involved. That only leaves her to blame.
Anyone in their right mind doesn’t want the corrupt, scandal-ridden poxed Fed govt involved in their endeavours.

She’s a helluva lot smarter than Putz can ever achieve. She’ll handle it. Be patient, grasshopper
OK cool. This being the case, I guess we can agree that she owns and is responsible for the housing crisis in Alberta that's getting worse by the day.

Alberta is in the midst of housing crisis that's getting worse by the day. Not to mention the healthcare crisis they're also facing...
The Alberta Medical Association is calling on the province to acknowledge the backlogs and challenges frontline workers are facing by declaring a health-care crisis in Alberta.

"There needs to be action at the highest level," AMA president Dr. Paul Parks said.

"We've been struggling with massive challenges around capacity and workforce staffing challenges, and I think over time, things have just slowly degraded to the point where literally small tweaks and little small changes to a standard operating procedure are not going to fix things."

Parks says Alberta health-care system needs a massive overhaul, saying that currently, "all roads lead to the Emergency Department," and system-wide problems are decreasing the quality and timeliness of care.

Parks says, in some cases, access to long-term care can hit 20 to 30 per cent over capacity, which also adds to wait times.

"So the hospital beds for acute (care patients) are blocked by patients that just need to go into continuing care, because that capacity doesn't exist for them. They're stuck in the hospitals," Parks said.

"The burnout levels for staff are epic, they’ve never been this high and moral injury is a real issue as so many health-care workers struggle because they can’t provide safe and timely care like they want."

The situation has become so dire, that staff at the Red Deer hospital were hanging tarps with duct tape just to create more space for assessments.
I'll give her credit though, she's an expert at diverting attention away from her failings. All she has to do is pick a meaningless fight with PM Trudeau and her loyal followers will forget about everything and say she's doing an amazing job.

Nevermind about actually coming up with solutions, as long as she's fighting with the feds that's good enough for them.

but that's just it, she isn't failing. This is a total lie, cooked up by the Marxist losers who somehow wish nothing but evil upon Alberta via the disgusting NDP. What amazes me is how concerned people who don't live in Alberta are about their leadership, to the point where they are willing to parrot dishonest talking points, while ignoring all of the endless evil and horrid conditions in their own province. No one in BC can really throw stones or claim other provincial leaders are "failures" when you refuse to acknowledge the massive failings of our own leadership, and how stupidly this province has voted.

The Alberta housing and healthcare crises are worsening by the day... as are BC's.

you seem quite concerned about Alberta's leadership and you live in BC :D if you find that Smith's direction is solid and it's not going to mirror BC's eventually, then maybe you should just move there and give her your direct support ?

Alberta's population increasing rapidly like Smith wants without making sure their infrastructure can handle it will have the same disastrous results that BC is facing- housing affordability for either buying, downsizing or renting will increase, Crime will increase , Taxes will increase ( somebody has to pay for that infrastructure)- and Healthcare will most definitely decrease

you can't say that immigration is the sole reason why the cost of living is rising in Canada and then in the next breath say that increasing the Population in Alberta rapidly will have a completely different effect- it's just not logical

Logic isn't their strong suit. The only thing it takes to keep them happy is for their leaders to pick fights with PM Trudeau. They don't need substance... soundbites and catchphrases are all they need to hear.

I just don't get the evil hate and lies being thrown at Smith, by people living in a socialist hellhole. Why wish the same fate on your Alberta brethren? Misery loves company?

sorry, I haven't seen any "evil hate nor lies" being said about Smith- what I see is some people are asking solid, logical questions and providing some solid evidence to base their questions on ( this is how are discussions usually go)- the posters who disagree with these questions and/or evidence are the ones who seem to fly right off the handle and start name calling and/or start using their buzz words like Communism and how much they enjoy seeing someone pick useless battles with our PM (who will no longer be our PM in 2025) to me that's exactly who enjoys misery loves company

well I have, and it's pretty disgusting. As I said, does misery love company? Why not worry about our own socialist hell hole? Why demand Alberta turn into one as well?

Communism is hardly a buzzword ... it is a dangerous ideology that has been working it's way into Canadian politics for quite some time now ... it is not just an issue at the federal level either where people will do everything they can to protect someone e like a criminal prime minister that should be prosecuted and in jail ... the 'communists' among us whether you want to refer to them as marxists or maoists or Neo-nazis are an evil bunch, just like the CCP, and they now use social justice warrior language to try and mitigate legitimate concerns ....

Daniel smith is under attack daily by those that use language like the critical social justice warriors do to lessen the impact and seriousness of those daily attacks ...

You are right, it ain't the truth. Bash Smith all you want, that's fine, but it's so transparent, and pretty pathetic. She's doing a fantastic job, and Alberta is so lucky to have her.

Imagine if you will a province that has a housing problem brought on by people who see an opportunity to grow and prosper . If only all provinces could have that problem rather than being faced with housing trudeau town residents . We can dream……right ?
