Tariffs are a possibility, but I suspect that US business is far more interested in making money than in punishing Canada. If something isn't worked out, it shows lack of leadership on both sides.

When I read your post I had strong doubts that it was true - "51 border guards" - so I watched the video of Danielle Smith's announcement and what she said was "...over 50 specially trained sherriffs..."

So, yeah, the media has sensationalized it by making up the number 51. So glad I didn't take the bait - I trusted my gut on this and went straight to the video for proof. I hope this resonates...

At least Danielle is trying to do something, unlike the fool who can't even put his eyebrows or sweater on properly, and wants to slap tariffs on ketchup companies that operate just down the road from his own riding. Canada is so screwed until we get the children out of the federal government and allow adults like Danielle to run the show.

And yet my gut said this didn't make sense ...and it was correct. There's a strong connection between gut health and brain health. Just sayin'.

Why should anyone believe print media over video of the Premier actually making the announcement?

Are you able to find video footage of Danielle Smith's announcement to substantiate your above-quote? Or even a press announcement on the Alberta government website that will back up your claim? If not, are you willing to admit that you mistakenly believed the lying media?
