Erin served this country well. We all thank you for your service Erin! You are a fantastic leader and a great Canadian, and we are all so lucky to have you leading the charge against tyranny and evil in the House against the disgusting and evil Liberals. You are amazing!crookedmember wrote: ↑Nov 8th, 2021, 9:12 pm

So true! O'Toole and those still dumb enough to support him look like fools every time they try and pretend the CPC isn't crumbling even more since their latest embarrassing defeat. It's truly sad that there are right wingers so dumb as to not acknowledge that O'Toole's lack of leadership is resulting in so much infighting. What a disastrous and embarrassing time to be a conservative.erinmore3775 wrote: ↑Nov 9th, 2021, 8:28 am https://cfjctoday.com/2021/11/09/otoole ... -included/
The embattled CPC leader, Mr O'Toole, has announced his Opposition shadow cabinet. Significant omissions are Lewis and Gladu and others who have not announced their vaccine status or made unhelpful comments about vaccines and their administration. Also Poilievre has been demoted. However, Dan Albas has been given a prominent position as Social Development critic while Tracy Gray gets the Small Business position.
While this announcement is an attempt to paper over the cracks within the Caucus, it really highlights the problems and the division. Those left out will feel the isolation and that will cement their uncooperative extreme views and encourage further splits. Mr O'Toole would have been better to banish the members of the "anti-vaccine" caucus and then work to build a strong opposition to the Liberal/NDP government programs.
Unfortunately, weak leadership, name calling, and muddled policies seem to be the marquees of the current CPC and its supporters. This is certainly not the Conservative Party of old. At least you knew where they stood and they had strong leadership. Today and tomorrow I am looking for strong, articulate, and thoughtful policies and the ability to analyze and offer viable criticism. I do see that from the current version of the CPC, their leader, or most members of their Opposition Caucus. This is now a fractured party and unfortunately it's irrelevance is growing.

Interesting to note who's left out of the Shadow cabinet - Gladu, Allison, Falk, Lewis, Strahl - all conspiracy theorist backers. Stubbs is out too.
Dan Albas moves up. Pierre Poilievre is back at finance.
The fun one is Rempel Garner moving to square off with Guilbeault. That should be a match that produces some interesting fireworks. It could be the most entertaining part of the next parliament. Straight outa Monty Python.
It is heartening to see Strahl on the losing end. There are still folks who don't like the crooked backroom shenanigans that got him nominated in the first place.
The danger for O'Toole is that Gladu and that bunch are very noisy, and we may see the "civil liberties" caucus grow. They may take the stance "nothing to lose"....

Once again the elitist O'Toole shows off his ignorance and arrogance by leaving Leslyn Lewis out of his shadow cabinet. This is Leslyn Lewis. A person of colour. Who O'Toole wants to ignore. Is this out of pure racism, or is it just stupidity? Or just overall intolerance?

Actually, I don't agree with disparaging O'Toole's "undistinguished" military service. Yup, I called out O'Toole for overplaying it, but the fact is he did serve. The Green Barbarian wrote: ↑Nov 9th, 2021, 8:51 amErin served this country well. We all thank you for your service Erin! Not everyone is going to be a fighter ace or a general. It has been said "an army marches on its stomach" - so even a cook's helper is an important part of the military. Each member of the military serves in his or her own way. Whether it is the person who drives the truck that delivers needed supplies, a fighter ace, a navigator on a ship, or a general - each has an important role to play.
The personal attack side of politics is overplayed and it serves no one to feed into it. It is actually a distraction from what is really important - which is policy, positions, and the ability to implement policy. That, unfortunately, is where the CPC has gone astray and continues to so.
O'Toole starting to push the conspiracy theorists aside is a beginning - perhaps too little, too late. It will only actually amount to anything if the CPC lets him continue on in his role. As a long term strategy, it is the first bit of real strategy I have seen from O'Toole. The problem for O'Toole is that if he sidelines the cranks, the tin foil hats, the crackpots and the conspiracy theorists - he doesn't have enough left to form a shadow cabinet!

Will wonders never cease! Some actual class in a total classless group of Liberal buffoons. Amazing! Erin served this country well, and is now doing a great service combatting the disgusting and evil Justin and his crew of unqualified children. Keep up the great work Erin!

O'Toole has 49 MPs to shadow 39 ministers. 38 men and 11 women.
I guess he needs an additional 10 men to supervise those 11 pesky womenfolk.

Maybe he sees her as a threat to his leadership of the party and doesn't want to give her any "air time".Pappywinkle wrote: ↑Nov 9th, 2021, 10:03 am Once again the elitist O'Toole shows off his ignorance and arrogance by leaving Leslyn Lewis out of his shadow cabinet. The CPC have some incredibly strong intelligent women, that must scare the living poop out of the unqualified losers in the Liberal "government". Such awesome great leaders!crookedmember wrote: ↑Nov 9th, 2021, 12:04 pm

Re: Reform/Progressive Conservative crack forms
We may never know O'Toole's true reason for his horribly racist treatment of Lewis, especially given how much time O'Toole spends hiding in his blue outhouse. It will be interesting to see if Lewis will lead one of the many factions that are breaking away from the horrible and disgustingly racist CPC.

I’m tired of the overt racism demonstrated by the CPC. It’s just so gross and wrong.

Re: Reform/Progressive Conservative crack forms
Can someone please give me a brief explanation or link to the racism exhibited by Mr O'Toole.
