Y'all want policy from Mr Poilievre?

Here's one everyone should agree with.

Dear Bill Rice, we know that the Trudeau Liberals like to suck up to the World Economic Forum globalists.

They can’t wait to take their luxurious, taxpayer funded trips to Davos for WEF conferences where they get to hobnob with celebrities and give big speeches on their radical woke agenda.

Chrystia Freeland enjoys it so much that she sits on the WEF’s Board of Trustees.

This while Canadians struggle under the weight of the Trudeau Liberals' reckless inflationary spending, massive government overreach, excessively high taxes, and government gatekeepers placing themselves into every aspect of our day-to-day lives.

Enough.

Pierre Poilievre and our Conservative team have drawn a clear line in the sand.

When we win the next election, every Cabinet Minister will be BANNED from attending WEF conferences.

We will put the Canadian people first, not the policies of the WEF.

First, help us send a clear message to the elitist Trudeau Liberals, Bill.

It’s time to prioritize Canadian workers and stop currying favour with the Davos elites.

The Liberals' experiment in central planning has failed. Miserably.

It’s time to get our great country back on track by making it the freest on earth.

It’s far past time we rejected the globalist Davos elites and Bring Home the Common Sense of the common people.

And it is with your voice, your vision, and your passion, Bill, that we will make that a reality.

Haven't seen this one yet, thanks for posting.
The super rich, the controlling have been using this WEF to gain access to taking advantage of opportunities so easily accessible via the weak management of the new Trudeau liberalist's movement party. Trudeau and Freeland would be the weakest and most vulnerable to prey on at these super rich gatherings

Actually most people are not messed up enough to buy into the WEF conspiracy theory.

https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnis ... emberships

"LILLEY: Poilievre shills conspiracy theories to sell memberships"

"Stephen Harper wouldn’t be considered good enough for a cabinet position in a government led by Pierre Poilievre."

In his latest pitch for votes from the fringe, the Conservative leadership candidate said that he won’t accept ministers attending the annual summit of the World Economic Forum.

Of course, Poilievre’s campaign co-chair, John Baird should be fired since he attended and spoke for Canada at the WEF in 2014."

SNIP

Schwab’s call to have a “Great Reset” in the economy as part of the recovery from COVID-19 has been the focus for those who see the WEF as an organization with too much power. There are regular claims that the WEF controls governments...

SNIP

"None of this is true, but it’s shared widely online, and it’s the people who buy into these conspiracy theories that Poilievre is trying to attract in his bid to win the leadership of the Conservative Party."

(Yes indeed, people like John Baird, Stephen Harper, Michel Rempel-Garner, Max Bernier have all been attendees at the WEF Davos meetings....)

SNIP

"This video, and Poilievre’s new “policy” on the World Economic Forum, is nothing but garbage aimed at sucking in people who believe half-truths or outright lies.

When Stephen Harper or his ministers went to Davos, they weren’t working for a policy agenda that was against the people of Canada, they were selling Canada."

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politic ... guidebook/

"Pierre Poilievre, the class tourist who didn’t read the guidebook"

"Near the end of July, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre paced a rally stage in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., showing off his summer makeover: no glasses, grey pants, a white henley shirt with the sleeves pushed up, but still with the expensive-looking shoes."

SNIP

Later in his remarks, Mr. Poilievre returned to this waitress to make a point about the burden of taxes and benefits clawbacks.

”I don’t know her personal story, but let’s say that she has three kids,” he said. “And let’s say that she earns $60,000, 25 bucks an hour.” At this point, several people even in that extremely friendly audience made little strangled noises of surprise and confusion, the human equivalent of a record-scratch sound effect.

A waitress in a blue-collar Northern Ontario city pulling down a cool $60,000 a year? The median income of everyone in Sault Ste. Marie – including the lawyers, the doctors, the teachers and all the people who work in the service industry or manufacturing jobs like Algoma Steel – was $40,800 in 2020. The average annual income of people working in the food service industry across Canada was $21,175 last year.

It would be as churlish to make a big thing out of a minor gaffe like that as it would be to point out that Mr. Poilievre began making $141,200 as a 25-year-old MP in 2004 and now makes $287,400, so perhaps his voter narratives are graded on a curve.

Or rather, it would be cheap to point out such discrepancies – if Mr. Poilievre didn’t keep saying out-of-touch or insulting things as he wages his chosen game of class warfare.

A week earlier, in trying to make a point about housing, he asked why it cost $550,000 in Niagara Falls to buy a “tiny little shack,” and even gave the address of this supposedly decrepit abode. As it turned out, a real person lived there and she found his remarks “a little embarrassing” for reasons we can all understand.

What’s more, her house was a perfectly lovely 1.5-storey postwar home that would not look at all odd or shack-like to many, many Canadians – especially the working-class people Mr. Poilievre keeps fetishizing. Sault Ste. Marie, which is where I grew up, is home to entire blocks lined with identical houses, and many in that crowd of political admirers would have left a house exactly like that to attend his rally."

That story says it all. Poilievre is an elite multimillionaire (garnered by feeding at the public trough) who has never had a real job,. Pierre has no clue whatsoever about anything relevant to everyday folks. Everyday folks have have to scrimp and go short to put a little bit into RRSPs etc. - not Pierre! Pierre has a gold plated guaranteed and indexed fat pension paid for by us that Pierre was fully vested in at the ripe old age of 31!!! And that gold plated elites pension of Pierre's??? For every $1 that Pierre puts in "we" put in $5. Hands up everyone who's employer puts $5 in for every $1 you put in!

Pierre can't even do math. Somehow Pierre figures that someone making $25 per hour makes $60,000 per year. Last time I looked 52 x 40 x $25 = $52,000. And never mind Pierre that most wait staff are not full time, and never mind that the median wage for wait staff in Ontario is $15.50/hr. https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/marketreport/ ... obsearch75

Pierre is trying to pretend that he is "just a regular guy" - what a freaking laugh! Transparently stupid Pierre - do you think that ordinary Canadians are going to buy your clownish shtick??

That's quite the assumption by someone. You?
A friend of mine does the books for a restaurant and a number of the waitresses there are pulling in over a hundred grand a year.

But hey, if the lies help spread the Liberal gospel.....

Speaking of lies. The majority of a servers income wouldn't "be on the books." It would be on their personal income taxes.

actually they would be on the books, the restaurant/ business issue T-4's to their employees- but i have never heard of a waitress making a $100k per yr and that's a red seal Chef wage -

you are very correct that Pierre has lived a very privileged life and this is the one real concern of mine about him- does he really know how hard it is for the average Canadian to live in this country now ? And since Pierre has been in politics all his life, I wonder how many favours he owes to those who helped him on the way up ?

A privileged life?

An adopted child from a teenaged mom? Parents who had to give up their home and move to a poor neighbourhood because they couldn't afford it? A young man who had to live with his dad in a tiny apartment with no car, who had to use public transit to get to university?

Apparently, we need to define the word "privileged" for the leftists on this forum. Here's a picture to help them understand (FYI - his car is now worth well north of $2,000,000 with a similar one selling for $1,842,000 in 2014):
