I just had to watch this again.
Should we all laugh at the feeble responses or should we cry for democracy?

Looks like JTs makeup peep took time off so he had to stick eyebrows in all by himself.

Gawd, he is vomit inducing with all the deflections he spouts. Just cannot straight answer a direct question.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Anyone figure out how Pierre made 9 million as a career pol? I'm thinking he should have that story all figured out if he ever makes onto the national stage as peeps will ask. I didn't realized pay to play was worth that much.

Doug Ford's net worth makes that 9 million look like chump change

Already the self-professed PM in waiting (no ego issues here), he's going to make Canada "the freest country in the world"
Wouldn't be that hard to do these days when the "freedom door" is closing at an ever increasing rate in the western world !

I meant to say the growth of his net worth since becoming Premier. Went from low millions to over 50 million during his tenure.

I'm not as partisan as you maybe think. The discussion of rich leftists is just as long.

Hmmm.....that's certainly suspicious as well......but without supporting evidence, that's all it is......hearsay. If true, I should invest in one of those "blind trust" the politicians are suppose to have their money in.

Really?
Pierre Poilievre was a big time drug dealer? (And so the mudslinging starts.)

That accusation would make for some interesting headlines.

This aspect of Poilievre's past has been bubbling beneath the surface for years. And you can bet the Liberals know all about it. They won't say a thing about it until it will do them some good. Like if Poilievre becomes CP leader and people start taking a look at him in an election campaign. Then it'll hit the fan.

I agree. And it's all positive. Thank goodness Pierre is stepping up at this point, with this huge vacuum opening up with the abdication of leadership by the current government. Go Pierre!

The so-con knives are already coming out for poor PP. Is it just me, or does it seem that the far right fringe of the CPC is more interested in ousting it's own leaders than being a party that Canadians would vote for? PP should really reconsider his leadership bid as he's going down the same path as Scheer and O'Toole.

The CPC is in complete shambles and such an embarrassment. And rightly so!
'We cannot endorse him': Anti-abortion group accuses Pierre Poilievre of being 'pro-abortion'

Pierre Poilievre, the heir apparent of the Conservative party, may not have the support of some social conservatives, a powerful bloc within the party, who have raised concerns about his voting record on abortion issues.

On Tuesday, Campaign Life Coalition, a socially conservative anti-abortion group, said it has been receiving a “steady stream” of requests for information about Poilievre and his stance on abortion during the excitement over who the next leader of the party will be.

“There’s no doubt that on financial matters, Poilievre is a skilled eviscerator of Liberals,” writes Jack Fonseca, CLC’s director of political operations, in a blog post. “However, we cannot endorse him … because Poilievre is pro-abortion.”

When Erin O’Toole was ousted earlier this month — leaving Candice Bergen to fill his chair until a new leader can be selected — RightNow, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to elected anti-abortion politicians, said the lesson to be learned was that the anti-abortion wing of the Conservative party is a powerful one.
