It was only a matter of time until the convoy scholars claimed expertise on the Canadian constitution, which is hilarious given it's the same group who believed delivering an online petition to the governor general would dissolve parliament. LOL

Thankfully, informed voters in Canada all understand that not being subjected to terrorism for 3 weeks is worth protecting. Mr. Mendicino did an amazing job protecting Ottawans from far right extremists and is a fantastic public safety minister!

Thanks, Mr. Mendicino! :130:

No surprise. He lied, numerous times, that's a matter of record.
I cannot understand why anyone would find that acceptable. You'd get fired at McDonald's for lying like he did.
The simple fact that he lied is indefensible. It's time for him to live up to his "honourable" title and resign.
Obviously, McDonald’s policies applying to employees being honourable is more than the Liberal party can muster up for Canadians. Mendacity runs deep and wide through this horrible government.

What is equally as bad is the group of partisan fools that defend him.

I know the Liberals legalized pot for these brain-addled fools, but surely even they know right from wrong?

Apparently not.

Who raised these scrambled kids anyway? Sure hope they used birth control after realizing what they produced first time around.

Sergeant-at-arms 'flabbergasted' at Ottawa police inaction on harassment amid convoy
The sergeant-at-arms for the House of Commons says he was "flabbergasted" at how the Ottawa police allowed the harassment of members of Parliament and staffers to go on during the protests against COVID-19 restrictions in the capital earlier this year.............

McDonnel says there was a police car "well within viewing distance" of the events he was describing and that the incidents were reported to Ottawa police "every day."

He says one person would block the cars of some employees as they arrived at a nearby parking lot and if the employee was a woman, the individual would "bang their car" before moving aside.

McDonell also says one woman employee was accosted by a man who tried to throw what appeared to be a bag of human feces at her before another employee arrived and pushed the man to the ground.

What a bunch of thugs these illegal "freedum convoy" occupiers were. Marco Mendicino did the right thing in calling the EA and sweeping the trash off of Ottawa's streets.

I seem to remember that the Ottawa police were in agreement with the Convoy, so many of them turned away from making minor issues into bigger ones.

Wasn’t it also true that tow truck operators felt much the same, and refused ir excused their way out if “orders from on high” to remove convoy truckers.

Seems that there was underground and hidden ‘resistance’ to the regime.

It’s growing, as is the anger at Liberals from all walks of life.

Mendacity himself is a target for the resistance. Lying toad should have been fired long ago.

The conspiracies floated in this thread really put the Q in Qonvoy, and it's truly embarrassing that there are still Canadians so hopped up on hatred that they dust off their tin foil hats to invent theories about 'hidden resistance' (lol). Just like the 1.4 million people and 50,000 trucks heading to Ottawa (lol). It seems like some posters get their theories from the same place as Theo Fleury.

What's much more likely that police and tow truck operators didn't want to engage with violent extremists who openly spoke about murdering elected officials. And given the weapons cache discovered in Coutts and their murderous ambitions this just further proves that the EA was needed and warranted. Given how few Qonvoy supporters have spoken out against the goals of murdering Trudeau it's sadly obvious that many of them would've been just fine with it.

But it's obvious to informed voters and Mr. Mendicino that people still waving their sad freedumb banner are just bitter their pity parade got shut down before they could carry out their murderous ambitions by a government committed to protecting the rights and freedoms of Canadians.
